    When you see a thread title that looks interesting and then when you click into it, there is basically just an OP and then 100 f.uckin idiots posting "+1" :(

    Badly trained unsupervised temp staff. I was in Easons today and did the Euromillions and bought a magazine. I gave the lad a couple of tickets to check and paid for my stuff. I gave him a 20 euro note and when I was putting the stuff in my bag after I'd been served I noticed a receipt for a 3 euro scratch card that I'd won on a previous draw. I started to queue to tell him that he hadn't given me the scratch card, anyways, as I was queuing I worked out that instead of giving me the scratch card he'd instead deducted 3 euro from the cost of my purchase, without asking me:confused:

    I just couldn't be arsed to go through the rigmarole again so I left.:mad:

    Alternating between being aggravated by how busy it has been today;

    'It's still the holidays - why are you all here? Could it not wait till Monday?'

    and aggravated because some people are still in holiday mode;

    'What do mean the canteen has closed early? I need my 3pm coffee!'
    'No, I can't do the phones so that you can go early - and wtf do you think you are doing trying to arrange this 3 minutes before you 'have to' leave? You could have sorted this out hours ago if it was that important.'

    Nobody's looking for consistency here, right?

    Seeing cars going the wrong way around a car park and being oblivious to all the near accidents they're causing.

    Having a big family dinner today, the OHs family - not mine. Where is he all day? Not helping is what. Cooking most of the day, worn out and he isn't even home. I'd happily wring his neck

    This drives me mad! Especially when I am pulling out of a space and there is some stupid f.ucker making it more difficult because they have pulled in from the wrong side and are sitting there like gombeens. But you know...."it's the learners that cause all the accidents" :rolleyes:

    Send him a text and tell him if he doesn't help out he will be on the menu.

    When finished dinner, tap your glass with a knife, say you have an announcement.

    Stand and Clear throat.

    "My darling OH, We are finished"

    long pause

    "the main course, could you help get the flan out of the fridge for dessert."

    I arrived 40 minutes early for my train this morning. I didn't realise I'd be that early. I usually get a 6:20 train to work. Apparently today's timetables are running on Saturday times so the first train was 6:58. I stood there with about 10 other people who hadn't known it either.

    It's the second of January. Even though a lot of people might have taken the extra day's holiday surely most businesses are open again today?

    It's ridiculous how much we drag out the Christmas holidays in this country!

    Are we allowed to name people in this thread? For example, a daughter of a celebrity? Better not. A defamation offence would not look good on my record :)

    Was in a very well known, pretentious, uppity, overpriced coffee and alcohol establishment on Dublin's "affluent" southside which may be named after a French river a number of years back and there's an orange tinted, peroxide buffoon at the bar, shouting, "has anyone seen my Dad , (insert his name) You know my DAD (INSERT HIS NAME) Has anyone seen him?" - her dad was no more likely to be found there than f.ucking Elvis but she clearly wanted everyone to know who her dad was. I get trivially infuriated every time I think about this. I just can't build a bridge.

    Surely friday 2nd would come out of the 2015 leave anyway. I'm pretty sure she can't just do that with no notice anyway

    She told her 3weeks before, In a verbal memo,
    "Sure whats the point in opening on the Friday, there'll be f***ing no one around anyway".
    But didn't mention that the days pay would be deducted. She'll be finding out on Monday what way it's going to go, she has a copy of her contract for her hours etc, and I am not looking forward a the phone call if it's an early morning one...It may mean an owner doesn't have a manager. :eek:

    It's contrived rubbish, more to do with whoever has the biggest sob story than wanting to lose weight :mad:

    People who post threads with, "I have a friend who was in an accident/has a problem at work/got a speeding ticket" etc, etc.

    If these are, in fact, friends and not just a "cunning" plan of the poster's, why don't the morons just post up their own question?

    Because it's really the poster and not their friend ;) Think about it if you got a speeding ticket would you ask your friend to post it on boards to see what others think ;)

    Rude people.
    In my local shop, the staff are generally lovely, apart from one woman who is borderline rude, but not in a way that you could pinpoint.
    I'm always polite and friendly regardless, but tonight she acted as if I'd tried to pass a counterfeit note, or something.
    I think she copped that I was less than impressed though, so she made a bit of an effort. I've one nerve left and she is standing on it....

    I don't know. Some people are truly stupid.

    I hate customers who throw their money on the counter instead of handing it to you, so bloody rude! These days I hold my hand out until they pick it up and give it to me, ignorant ****ers!!

    When I worked in retail, people approaching the counter on their phones did my head in. It got to the stage where I wouldn't start their order until they got off their phone. So rude
