Who should I start this weekend, Downing or Andy Carroll?

Like the look of that! Does it rip apart the rest of your team? I guess with Kane/Austin scoring well above their price you can still get a decent side even with those 5.

I can have that midfield as long as I get rid of either Costa or Azpilicueta, as I've the full complement of Chelsea players. We're talking -8 at most. Otherwise I'm fine, I could even have Rvp up front.

    Foster
    Azpi Zabaleta Taylor (Hutton dummet)
    Fab Haz Yaya Silva (boyd)
    Rvp Sakho Austin

0.4 in the bank. To fit Downing in I'd have to get Zamora or something for Sakho.

    Considering hazard->silva and janmaat->azpi
With siggy and hazard doubtful and the possibility of Sanchez being rested, I don't want three of my midfield not starting. Silva is on form, but I'm scared that if I drop hazard he will start and rack up a high score, and everyone around me in my league has him. As it stands my team is as follows:

    Howard(krul)
    Janmaat Chambers clyne (hutton, Wisdom)
    Sanchez Hazard fab Siggy (Boyd)
    Costa(vc) giroud(c) Austin.

I have two transfers this gw. Any suggestions?

From banking this transfer, I'm now looking at taking a -4 by doing RVP to Benteke and Brady (stupid transfer) to Silva. Would leave me with the following for this week:

    Panti
    Terry Bertrand Gibbs Wisdom Dummett
    Yaya Silva Hazard Sanchez Siggy
    Benteke Bony Austin

Will come down to benching either Austin or Siggy but would feel good having a decent sub to come on in the event Sanchez is rested. Could then follow up with another -4 for Sunday by doing Bertrand to Zab and Gibbs to Hutton as Arsenal and Southampton's fixtures take a turn while City's and Villa's improve.

I'm not afraid of taking hits if I feel they're warranted but am doing quite well so far and don't want to undo all the good work by making poor choices at such a vital time. Anybody have any thoughts on these moves?

It seems Herrera and fellani aren't fit which probably means rooney playing deep again which helps the chances of Falcao and rvp both starting.

    Duff to O shea

I was just looking at Duff to Vergini there!

Is there any attacking threat from any Sunderland defender?

    I'm thinking about Falcao myself

i was defo doing it after Saturdays match he looked so sharp and Rooney was so deep.
then I had an unexpectedly good Sunday and Monday game so I put my sensible hat on and said I'd bank it to give me two for the 28th.
    I've come full circle again!!!!
if I bring him in its because I think he will score well so I may as well captain him ........
problem is will he start the following game ..........my thinking is that if he scores well he can't be dropped and if he does not we will know the team sheet anyway so I'll sell him for Austin/jovetic cos someone has to make way for one of them anyway.
it could be a waste of a transfer ......or fantastic :D
should point out Rooney has a great record against Newcastle though

he also had a great record against Villa (scored more goals against them than any other club)

I took Rooney out before the Villa game, he is playing far too deep for a striker of £10m+.. better options out there

yeah this is true. was afraid he would be moved up top for Newcastle game but don't happen now. can still see him picking up points though.
question is will falcao pick up more ........

Just done Duff to O'Shea there. Gives me good options for my defence over the next few GW's.

Hopefully a clean sheet v Hull now.

Redknapp said that Yun is going to be out for a while with an ankle injury so I'd get rid of him instead.

Guys, do you think it's worth transferring Costa out for this GW for someone like Falcao and brining him back in again for their game v Southampton?

Thinking Costa to Giroud for -4 and making him captain, any news

Source? I can't find any news on this

    I'll definitely consider this now!

Just found this http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-boss-too-many-injuries-8342629! Thanks. I'll be moving him on.

Is Costa a doubt or something? He's a shorter price to score than Giroud if they both start your basically just burning 4 points as their points expectancy is around the same (Giroud probably a little less).

Is he unlikely though? Last I saw suggested Jose thinks he will be fine for it.

Have 2 FT's and 0.5 in the bank. What would you do there

    Loris/ myhill
    Baines, dummet, Bert, wisdom, Hutton
    Sanchez, yaya, Boyd, hazard, downing
    Bony, Austin, Costa

I'm thinking just a boring one of getting pantilimon for myhill. Any other ideas?

Hart for Lloris would be my transfer he has 3 super games then u are into wildcard time. Nice team!

I still haven't got a clue what I'm doing :pac:

Costa out for definite, but don't know whether to bring in Falcao or Benteke....

I'm going to be getting Falcao from January on but I suppose I don't know if Van Gaal thinks he's fully fit yet!

Falcao would also be an epic captain choice for this weekend.

Simple transfer this week - Yun to Taylor.

    Team should be:
    Guzan (Krul)
    Clyne, Taylor, Zabaleta, (Dummett), (Wisdom)
    Fab, Hazard, Sanchez, Downing, (Boyd).
    Austin, Bony, Costa.

Coming 7k in the world right now.

Nice position to be in with Hazard looking like your only doubt! With the transfer basically going spare its probably is a good idea to get a second keeper just in case something happens with Lloris.

Jaysus just realised today wasn't match day, also was wondering why the bins were out on a Friday night instead of the normal Tuesday when I was coming home from the pub last night. Fecking eejit me, was even thinking of starting a Gameweek 18 thread!

What day is today? Can only operate via dates this time of the year!

Is this worth a -4 hit?

    Yun ----> Toure
    Duff
    > O'Shea

If not, who would you transfer in?
