all I wanted this week was not to lose too much of the progress I'd made since my 8 point hit saved my season in GW13 and I've maneged that so far.......terry and hazard to come hopefully so just need Costa not to do too much
also the -4 to bring in and captain yaya (for fellaini) along with giroud for dzeko saved my week........
I was extremely patient with my transfers until GW13 and I was getting nowhere and pretty peed off !
sometimes the hits do work

38(-4) so far and I'm happy with it !

If Costa stays quiet tomorrow, this will have been a good week. Today's results went great: inconsequential goalscorers and no cleansheet for Newcastle. Sure what more could you want?

There's no middle ground with RVP it seems. He's either your hero of the week or he fcks you right up. Have him four weeks and have two epic double digit returns and two blanks the weeks I captained him. Needless to say he won't get near the armband again for a long long time!

Dummet shedding 7 points in the 90th minute adds insult to injury. The Xmas schedule not starting well.

If ever I needed a John Terry goal.....

40 points gives me all sorts of red arrows in nearly every league yet sees me get a green one in overall ranking, nowhere near you guys but inside the top 50k keeps me smiling

Dropped 300 places to exactly 2k after 0 today (Dummett to auto-sub in).

Any news or rumours on whether Azpi will start tomorrow night? I really need him to.

I'll give him Newcastle and if he does nothing of note there I'll ship him out for Giroud, freeing me up to have a midfield of 4 premium players and 2 premium defenders. That's the plan as of now anyway!

I think I'll be shipping both him and Costa shortly and probably going with 5 main mids. I think busts said the United Newcastle line ups might be out before deadline so might wait to see if vP starting.

you've more than likely got this one. i'd need a brace minimum from Costa, a Costa goal early followed by a JT own goal could make things interesting tho

2 pts from Sanchez today. Went a little bit back after my huge jump yesterday from 31,999 to 34,400. Hazard & Costa to go. So these 2 to combine for goal(s) and Chelsea to concede would be perfect.

15 points today mainly thanks to Panti, 49 for the week with Costa (c), Hazard and Azpil to play yet. Small jump to 4600 but any extra return for Costa tomorrow should see me make a bit more ground.

Stayed around the same position ( I think) after my 3 points today.
Overall up 800 places to 16,000.
I have a good few green arrows in private leagues.
I'm waiting for the week to bite me in the @ss tomorrow night. No Costa but I do have Hazard and Azpil.
44 points do far (1 to come off the bench). I don't understand how I can have green arrows.

Wohoo. Clinging onto the top 1k by my fingertips!

Down another 30 or so to 936 with 33pts. If I can survive this week with a 3 digit rank it will be a proper little Christmas miracle!

Terry, Haz and Costa tomorrow. Terry probably the slight differential so now would be a good time for that goal he is due! Costa big score will probably hurt my ranking as a good few will have captained him.

Well average is 28 pts.
Top 10k average is 43.6 pts.
Top 10k average pts deduction is 1.1 pts, so the "real" top 10k average is down to 42.5 pts.
You got 44 pts. And a marginal overall rise. Sounds right :cool:.

The problem is the standard of this forum is so high that even a decent week feels like rubbish in here. And in addition some don't bother posting their crap scores.

To be honest, since I only got 2 pts today, but am on 71 for the week with 2 to go, I was fantasising a drop from 32k to 50k today. Standard here being so high that I kinda convinced myself everyone had Sunderland defence cover and Giroud upfront :rolleyes: :pac:. In reality only dropped 2.4k :cool:...
