    Last dog was called Nero.

    Last cat was called Mrs. Raffaella Calderon Del Castillo ('Missus' for short)

    We had a cat called Moriarty growing up, a gas character.

    Had a cat called Bhubh once (that's "Wuff" to all outside the gaeltacht :P). Very funny shouting her name out the window :D

    And another called Brîste - the fada did make a difference after she got hit by a car. :o

    There was a study done on the most popular names of cats & dogs in Ireland. seventy thousand pets surveyed. I cant post the link here for some reason but it is list on JustCats vet Clinic Website and also on Ray Darcys page on today FM - at least until he left!
    Kitty - Tiger - Fluffy - Molly - Tigger - were the top 5 cats names
    Molly - Max - Charlie - Jessie - Holly were the top 5 dogs names
