I don't want to sound like a dick but tracks like yours are the reason people didn't take Irish hip hop seriously for many years and are only coming around to the idea of it now.

Irish ****ers acting like they're from the streets of Compton are why people don't take it seriously.

Ok if you want real advice:

At least try to develop a style...maybe stick to some of the semi-crooning you were doing? You can't rap for **** so maybe dont try. Look up ILOVEMAKKONEN he can't rap (or sing) for **** either but he's doing ok.

Learn to sing, get some singing lessons in. Learn breath control.

Work with some producers, look into clams casino, yung gud etc, maybe try that kind of beat, might fit your 'relaxed' style of rhyming.

Also keep working hard, keep listening to Rap. From your songs it sounds like you've never properly studied the craft - If I asked for your top 10 DOA would you give me a real 'head' answer or are you a casual listener?

I've been studying rap for years. Rakim, 2pac, Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, they're all an influence on my style. Their similes, metaphors, alliteration, the way they twist words, their live performances. They're all incorporated in my style.

I can't think of anyone who fits that description tbh. The Rubberbandits did have a track about smoking crack with Snoop & Dre in Compton though :D

Well, I exaggerate lol but they act like their the hardest ****ers around when they're ****. Class As are ****e, they seem like they lack confidence, Rira and Scary Eire are class, I like them, that DFI thing is a joke. All Irish rappers sound the same. I'm unique, I'm the greatest. I'm actually brilliant to be honest lol

I'd tend to agree with you about Class A'z being ****e. It's people like Lethal Dialect, Costello, G.I(who can match any producer in the world when it comes to boom bap beats), God Knows & mynameisjOhn, Clerk 5, The Animators, Messiah J & The Expert, Spekulativ Fiktion, Sons Phonetic & The Elements you should be listening to.

You should check out some of those artists if you haven't before, you'd be hard pushed to find any of them that sound the same as each other.

I'll give em an owld gawk. Heard God Knows was opening for Snoop Dogg. Must be decent

Take this track for example, it's worlds apart from what you're doing

Keep at it though, I'd just suggest taking a lot more time before you start putting out more music. Wait till you have it down and can put out a high quality level of tracks/videos.

No Offense, but I didn't really find anything in that song stood out. He was really trying to take off 80's rap. His flow was good and I understand what it was about but it wouldn't be something I'd listen to. He really seemed to be taking off Rakim. It was almost exactly like Rakims solo stuff from his first album. There wasn't really any different about him.
Don't get me wrong, it was a good song I just wouldn't go mad for him.

You sound like most generic crap Irish rap from a decade ago. That's not unique.

OP you are delusional. You are one of the worst rappers I have ever heard. The couple people who are telling you to keep it up are just being nice. Please don't keep it up, you won't make it rapping or doing anything even vaguely related to music.

    OP stop pls

I've actually heard you before. A friend from Galway showed me some of your music videos and was laughing about how bad they were but swore you were serious about rapping but I didn't believe him. You might be on the wrong side of a joke with the support you're getting.

Irish rap goes back a decade? I thought I was the first one? Lol.
In all fairness where else would you hear songs with a combination of catchy hooks, memorable lyrics, Galway slang, humour\dark\historic\ just about everything? Also, I'm like the best performer in the world. Nobody can create a buzz like me.
The world revolves around me sure, yano????? :P

I do have serious songs but I'm known for piss takes and that's why people love the ones I mentioned above. The whole point of them is to have a laugh but people on this thread went full retard lol
I've a song called Easter Monday that's really good if you like serious stuff, Demon Inside (old with a terrible flow but a good listen), Gang Rape Justin Beiber (To upset people). But I am brilliant! People on board.ie are just idiots. lol

Everyone at the Roisin Dubh, any open mic in Galway. A majority of big Galway musicians. Anyone on the dole. Foreign people in Galway. Loads of Americans on reverbnation. I could go on and on but I've **** to do. Yere all prob the sort of people who think education matters and you have to drink to be sociable. Were different people so let's just agree to disagree or go **** yourselves a pack of dry ****es. (I'm being fair)
