  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Is Fabregas or Aguero looking likely to fall tonight?

Still not sure which way to move. Want city coverage but would prefer to sit & wait!!

Disaster. Fabregas, Fabianski & Austin suspended; Krul & Aguero injured; Bruce doesn't play. Have had Costa, Aguero, Sanchez, Siggy, Fabregas & Chadli more or less since the start of the season, so if I move anyone out to have a full team for next week, I won't be able to afford to get them back in - would lose either .3 or .4 on all above except Chadli, and have zero in the bank.

    DISASTER!!

Wonder how much Sergio will drop to during the presumed 30 day recovery, .5M ?

Largely depends how many people think they can get away with waiting a week

Too busy watching the pennies and you haven't got a hope of doing well IMO, the money means nothing at the end of the season, your team value means nothing, only resale means anything. What do Sigy and Sanchez have to do with anything? You have to sell Aguero, that will leave you with enough change to afford to play around a bit. Don't be afraid of a -8 when you think of the alternatives.

think its time to do Fabregas ----> Hazard. Will probably switch back during Jan wildcard. Fab will drop tonight & Hazard going the other direction

    Fabregas --> Yaya
    Aguero --> Costa

    Maybe Kane to Cisse too

Fabregas is dropping tonight. Aguero is not.

I have hazard sanchez and siggy in the midfield with fab too. Don't really want to get rid of fab but shipping him out allows me to get azpi in for Chambers so it's two birds with one stone. But who do I put in for fab? Anyone any thoughts? I'd like to do it tonight to avoid the 0.1 drop.

    Option 1

    Fab to Hazard
Chambers to Clichy (Going to take a chance on rotation risk)
    Kun to Kane

    All for 4 pt hit

Then next week if Silva is back Albrighton to Silva

This would give me a squad of the following for Christmas:

    Courtois (Murphy)

    Naylor, Wisdom, Clichy, Bertrand, Baines

    Downing, Silva, Sanchez, Siggy, Hazard

    Costa, Austin, Kane

What are peoples thoughts? I could afford a striker from 6.5 down but don't fancy Sakho as already have downing, Cisse may not start and they have a difficult run over xmas, Ulloa & Berahino off form, Burnley dont score so rules out Ings.

    Option 2

    Fab to Hazard
    Kun to Bony

Then over the next couple of weeks, Siggy to Boyd, Albrighton to Silva and Chambers to Clichy or somebody else.

Will cost me 0.2 if I don't do this tonight as Hazard going up and Fab going down. Not sure what to do!

Am thinking Chambers to Clincy, Fab to Hazard, and Aguero to Pelle/Bony, and will still leave me with 3 Suspended/Injured.

Going to see how at least tomorrow plays out first.

    Edit.

Just noticing may have to do the Fab/Hazard transfer tonight as well, one of them due to rise, and the other fall as per FFFix.

A lot of Twitter sources running with Aguero missing a month. That means at least he could be worked back in during the January wildcard.

@BenDinnery: Aguero #MCFC Around a month MT @HLNinEngeland: @BenDinnery Distension of the lateral ligament, they say in Argentina.

I really hope this is true and its not long term it makes the league and ff a lot more interesting.

It will make the league more interesting i agree, but in terms of FF, i think not having Ageuro is going to make the game more interesting as now everyone will pretty much have excess funds, and not sure who to buy or upgrade. Following the masses won't really be an option,

So much choice now for 3 strikers

Some people like dzeko others don't,
Benteke could have had 2/3 today but didn't score - is he worth buying?
Sacko back to scoring - but will he start
Carroll - great game today - but can west ham's run continue.
Bony - hot and cold - do you want 2/3 players form Swansea in your team?
Costa - Last few months hasn't done much - Chelsea shut up shop after 2-0 up.
Giroud/Welbeck - will both play together or will they rotate?
Austin - very cheap - but going good.
United strikers have not clicked yet
Pool strikers - no one worth having really?
Berahino - since being arrested - he's gone off the boil completely - hasn't scored in last 5, and was dropped at weekend.
Pelle hasn't scored in last 6
Kane - very cheap looks promising but finishing not great

As you can see a lot of variables now -

With costa not firing many may choose to dump him, which gives even more $$$ to spend - could have approx. 22m to spend.

Fab and Aguero out for Hazard and Dzeko or Sahko. Hopefully Kun is back soon so I can wildcard him back in Jan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

    Hopefully!! Will he be protected?
No. He'll require a little more NTO to drop since he's flagged but hs protection will only be effective when he'll be back and his flag removed.

Decided going to hold aguero and see what the story is with him. He's at 12.9 now!

What I'm thinking of going with - Costa in for Augero and Sanchez in for Fab. I know Chadli is a risk there but really don't wanna take a 8pt hit. My team would then look like the below for GW16. Am I overlooking anyone?

    Forster - Jakupovic

    Baines - Taylor - Wisdom - Dummett - Yun

    Sanchez - Hazard - Siggy - Chadli - Albrighton

    Costa - Benteke - Bony

good news that kun is not long long term and as people said he can be worked back in with the jan wc so spend away that money is the best thing imo. the striker that tempts me is lukaku due to seemingly ok fixtures for 6 weeks but i will have to check the relevant stats before i make the call. no rush with kun holding value for now

I'd personally go with Option 2. You've a good defence and Chambers only gone for 1 match. I don't really rate Kane too much either, he's a hard working striker but can't see him scoring too many. Bony is pretty consistent and you also have other options like Carroll and Benteke to choose from.

Seeing that he's injured now, I would prefer if he came back in Feb.
If he came back with a bang during wildcard time then a lot more people will have him.

    Fab to mirallas done

    Team for next week:

    Howard

    Wisdom Hutton Clyne janmaat

    Boyd Siggy Sanchez Henderson

    Costa(c) Aguero

Subs: krul fab Austin chambers( none can play)

Can't afford a -8 so Subbing Aguero out next week. Really should have saved my wildcard for a week like this

Really relying on Costa and Sanchez to save me. Just looking to not drop too many places before regrouping next week

I'm going without a keeper next week.
I'm taking a hit for Aguero to Costa. I don't see the reward for a further hit for Fabianski to Pantillimon. If Pantillimon gets more than 4 points away to Burnley then so be it, but I'm going to gamble that he won't.

Cue peno save, cleanie and 3 bonus for Pantillimon next week as he hoovers up about 967 points.
