My first car. Never gave a bit of bother until the clutch went on a spin in the wicklow mountains. 240k miles on it. Had to get it towed by a passing tractor because of the hills.

Was stolen from outside my house for parts, its widely known who did it too, had witnesses and all! they took it to their yard, stripped the goodies off it (including brakes) dragged it down a bog lane and burnt it.. bastards

Ha never seen the inbetweeners car with the red door. Went to all of two scrap yards before I gave up and said, **** it give me the red one. The other side was mint. It was fair handy for turning right. Everyone let you out :pac:.

I'll be up and down to dublin until Christmas so won't have much time to give it a good clean and it will get dirty fairly quick too. Don't want anyone else washing my car! :)

Will post a picture before I wash for Vectra!! :P

When you are up in Dublin, are you in Tallaght by any chance? Passed a dirty white 10C VRs In an office car park today, when I picked up a less than shiny Blue XC60 for a customer.

Put on the German plates that were on it originally when I first went to look at it, not sure how I feel about them :pac:

Just get a set of normal Irish pressed plates. They're the best looking IMO.

Yeah that's what the original plan was, these are just better than the current plastic Irish ones. Probably pick up a set after Christmas.

    Pressed plates are better.

They do the pressed plates too. The pic doesn't illustrate that as well as I taught...

A set of surrounds would make all the difference :)

    Edit: Ahh screws

Sorrounds and tape are coming with the new set, screws really ruin the look of them if they're on a number.

Don't want to kick off a German plates war... but I think they look well, especially with surrounds. I'll be putting a set on my 320 for sure. With the legal size requirements of course!

you wont need tape with the surrounds.

I'm going to get both as I'm not sure what I'll go for, I think it needs surrounds on the front alright but not so much the rear.

The only way to travel in a Mk 2 Focus - 2.5 litres and 5 cylinders.

    Anything else just feels lacking

    Best of luck

Have the coilovers dialled in just about how I like them since installing them the other week. Ride height is high enough so speed ramps aren't a hassle, but still lowered a good bit. Function beats form for a daily driven car in my case.

Very impressed with the BC coilovers, handling is vastly improved. Car feel tight and controlled without being harsh or choppy. Copes with bumps much better than the tired shock / lowering spring combo that was on it.

Winter tyres and racing hart's going on next week, then some swift springs and it'll be fully sorted handling wise :)
