I would go with Kane option, it gives you scope to sort your team out for the upcoming weeks which is vital given frequency of gameweeks.

I think I am going to bring him in myself for berahino, I think he will equal, if not better, Austins' scores. Spurs will score more than QPR, only issue with Kane is will he hold his place, I think he will.

Right lads, I have a bit of dilemma here on who I get in for Ayoze. It's between Kane and Austin.
If I go with Kane I can, over the next few weeks, also do
    Downing -> Silva
    Fab -> Hazard
and I can sort out my bench for the christmas fixtures, with .7 to spare.
If I go with Austin, while he is more likely to score points and has 5 home games in his next 8, it limits what I can do elsewhere in my team. I can do only one of the above and have just .1 to spare.
So what do people think I should do?

Great point. Did a bit of analysis of my current team to see who had more home or aways....

    Foster (WB) Away
    Chambers (Ars) Away
    Terry (Che) Away
    Cresswell (WH) Home
    Hazard (Che) Away
    Siggy (Swans) Away
    Sanchez (Ars) Away
    Fellaini (MU) Away
    Aguero (Che) Home
    Rooney (MU) Away
    Kane (Spu) Home

    Usual Subs:
    Myhill (WB) Away
    Taylor (Swans) Away
    Larsson (Sun) Away
    Moore (Lei) Away

Only 3 of my players have more homes than away!!!

The teams with more homes are:
    Man City
    Newcastle
    Hull
    Liverpool
    QPR
    Spurs
    Stoke
    West Ham
    Villa
    Southampton

Good man. I have Green, Hutton, Eriksen, Dummet and God (Aguero) from the home list. Looking at the 'home' teams there's not a huge lot of other players I'd fancy. I may look at Austin after. Swans enemy three decent games, or even Benteke if he starts to show the form of old. West Ham defender worth a look but they are a bit dear for me.

As Busts predicted way back at the start of the season a Liverpool player would be great but their form is so poor. Lambert maybe, or Sterling many be worth another go.

Also a second City attacker will be an almost definate, and maybe a defender when Kompany is back.

Chances of fab getting booked in hull game has got to be very high ( if he gets through the Newcastle game with no bookings).

For most transferring fab or keeping is probanly not their main concern atm.

On that note, Cresswell could be a better option than dave. ...

Just realised I made a bit of a silly mistake this morning with my transfers.

I went for Baines to Cresswell which is fine, but then I did Wilson to Hutton thinking I was starting to round off the edges of my team. Now I have the dilemma of whether to start Hutton or Chambers. I really should have saved myself the hassle and just upgraded Chadli to Eriksen with my 2nd free transfer as Spurs have a lovely couple of weeks fixtures.

Silly, very silly, and it's those kind of things which cost you in this game. I'm now praying for Eriksen to do very little or it will keep nagging at me for far longer than it should.

Did similar last week, got in Dummett without checking his fixtures. He'll be bench fodder for three of the next four gameweeks.

Just did Fabregas out, Hazard in.

Is it worth getting in Costa this game week. Tricky away game before a handy one next week and surly a price rise? Already have Aguero !

    Was thinking this myself.

It's really not like me, so I'm extremely frustrated about it. Admittedly I was rushing a bit and as I'm away from tomorrow afternoon until after the deadline on Saturday so I needed to get my transfers sorted ASAP, but ugh.

Hopefully Hutton equals or gets very close to Eriksen's score this week and I won't be too mad. :pac:

who is every going for to get city players in!

    current team with £1.9 ITB

    Forster
Azpil Wisdom Yun ( duff, Blackett)
    Hazard, Fab, Siggy, Sanchez (Boyd)
    Rooney, Aguero, Austin..

Preferably would like to improve my defence but who will play?

thinking of upgrading Downing to Eriksen... madness?

Eriksen found form lately and has 4 tasty fixtures coming.

Downing is in form too in an in form (overperforming) team and has 3 tasty fixtures coming.

Neither madness nor an easy call. Can't you upgrade/downgrade someone else if you really want Eriksen?

    Did marney to eriksen.
    Front 8 is
    hazard fab siggy eriksen sanchez
    ings aguero austin
I may bench siggy this week bar the utd game poor enough away returns. For all you siggy owners the good news is that that game is the only week Ive benched him all season:eek:

Do you have a free transfer? If so I'd do Blackett to Cresswell tonight.

I was just looking at that. It's only Siggy or Downing. I also have Sanchez Fab & Tiote. Can't move any of those at the moment.

May just have to watch the Eriksen bandwagon go this time & stick with Downing. Pretty random that West Ham, Swansea & Spurs have favourable fixtures over the next few weeks

You changed your mind? Thought you were gonna ditch Ings for Kane. Double changed your mind actually since now Ings goes from transfered out to the starting XI (sounds like real transfer window drama :pac:).

I shall not speak too loud but Eriksen -> Sterling for GW19 sounds like perfect timing fixtures and Christmas run wise for both of them :D ...

Ye IM hoping for a goal fest for qpr and Burnley it was 3 3 last season and ings got 3 over the 2 games v qpr last year. I'm not a fan of 8 strong options but wanted to upgrade Marney I think in time ill downgrade fab to a better cheapie than Marney and get costa in for ings.

he's looked v lively last couple of games. capable of scoring against any team. GW19/20 are nice for the 'pool

City are hitting top form and have fixtures over Christmas that they couldn't handpick better!

Who are the players to bring in? Defenders too much of rotation risk?
Is Nasri sure to get alot of gametime? Or is Silva at 8.9 too much value to ignore? Is Yaya worth 10.7 seeing that if fit he plays and is a beast!

Would bringing in (when fit again) Dzeko at 8.1 be a decent gamble even if u have Aguero?

    Wine induced fantasy football dilemmas!

Something that has crossed my mind . I know it's hectic with gws coming thick and fast but don't think we will get up to gw 28 by Xmas ☺ GW 18 or 19 I presume.

:pac:... Think I had 28th December in mind (but Sterling plays 29th anyway).

Just shows that I should really really really stop planning ahead :pac:...

Yeah, just watching the highlights this evening. A Liverpool player, probably Sterling for GW 19-20 is a great call. Lallana could be good but for the same money has to be Raheem.

Gerrards advanced role is very interesting, but he's too dear when they are not getting a penalty every game.

(Also from the highlights, RVP could have had a goal and an assist had Hererra not blazed over and almost open goal and had James Wilson not been a selfish dick :( )

Was going to bring costa back into the fold for rooney, but might bank it till the next gw, take a -4 hit and make 3 much needed transfers, keeping the WC in the pocket.

Bench is riddled with injuries and suspensions, not one available player.

I would never ever trust Nasri. But I have to admit being French doesn't help to appreciate him. Certainly the most hated (by everyone) football player in our entire history.

Anyway, Busts great post in the Christmas thread summed up the players who played all 4 games last year.

For your concern, here's City. Hart, Kompany, Fernandinho started all 4 games. Silva started the first 3 and missed the 4th through suspension.

    Lads - Giroud?

Likely to come in for Welbeck or worth a punt?

I had finally decided last night I was doing Duff, Robertson to Hutton and Terry and most likely then on Saturday night Fab and Bony to Costa and Siggy.
Was just waiting until tonight to make sure there were no further injury worries before I did the first two transfers. Nobody was due to move in price. Duff went down last night. Lost 0.1 on him and plan now out the window. I can still go with Azpil I suppose but I've been caught out twice I think on price drops this season now
