Going to finish on 64 after bonus added and hit accounted for.

    DIS. AST. ER.
    I ****ing hate that crap.
    Hardly a disaster. Jesus.

    Nail. On. Head.

I got 65 and i'm delighted. A quarter of my work league scored under 30, ffs.

Think I'll finish up with about 70 (-4)

Not a disaster but could have been so much better. RVP captain fail. Hit fail. Boyd first sub fail.

71(-4) Got away with it to some extent given the scores I'm seeing even from the sane people who captained Aguero.

I can forgive myself the -4 punt on RVP even though it cost me 11 points. But the daft captain change at the last minute yesterday ended up costing another 14 and will teach me a harsh deserved lesson.

85 (-4) would have been a heck of a score and decent green arrows, but as it stands I should only drop a small bit overall.

Best bench on FPL Discovery Hall of Fame will be kicking himself tonight

Yikes! Going to be some drop from 164th tonight!

81 (-4). Lukaku got the exact same score as Boyd so it was a pointless hit (even more so considering I've one less transfer for the weekend) but still, can't complain about the score at all. Wish I captained Aguero but that's being greedy!

Yeah takes too long! I like how ufpl updates way quicker.

56pts (-4).....captained Bony in hope of a differential, won't be doing that again...unless he gets injured Aguero in his current form is a must have Capt every week....like Suarez was last yr.

    82 all in, delighted.

72 points, interesting to see what that does for me.

Objectively having Hazard rather than Fabregas should counteract not captaining Aguero. Especially when Haz got the armband.

I've been on the right end of most of these high scoring weeks so I'll take it and move on.

    68. Could have been so much more if I didn't bench Chambers and captain Bony instead of Aguero :(

Very unusual for the only goalscorer in a 1-0 to only get 1 bonus I'd have thought.

Finish on 62...my defence contributed a total of 6 points to the effort so that was very disappointing. The Baines 1 pointer was a sickener. Will drop to around 25k.

Haha, he captained Van Persie....what a plank!!! :)

    88 points....Absolutely delighted.

One of my best game weeks that I can remember. Not in terms of overall points but in terms of how badly some of the other guys in my league did.

Im coming 1st and the 2nd placed team got 34 points.

Was 34k before as of last night. Think ill see all green arrows tonight.

Don't beat yourself up about that. Wasn't obvious at all and those are the type of moves (if they come off) that get you into the top 1k. I'm still very stuck on the idea of captaining Benteke this weekend over Aguero.

76 for the week. 15 points from six players last night. 61 points from five players tonight :D

Sanchez only getting 1 bonus has been costly. Ive learnt my lesson though. Always captain Aguero.

Ah I'm melancholy about it now, that comment was ironic about the poor fella in 164 in the world who did it and ended up with 40 something points.

Count it a lesson I needed to learn. Speaking of which, don't captain Benteke over Aguero!! :)

If you did nothing else but pick the poll topper (both FFS & boards) as your captain choice you will not go far wrong over the course of the season. Risks may work once or twice but they are big losers over 38 GW's IMO

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,460 ✭✭✭OneColdHand

Auto-sub are added. Finished on 87.

Trilled with that. FPL discovery predicting top 10k average of 68.9 pts, so I should see a nice rise.

On the point of always following the Boards poll for captain choice. I agree that it will rarely send you astray but there will come the times that if you want to make ground, you'll have to take some risks. This week was a week that I thought Hazard was well poised to score well and given Aguero was facing a defence that I rated strongly, I thought he could easily blank. Obviously that hasn't quite worked out, but I do take solace in knowing I had a strong team that I was confident of scoring well regardless of who I captained and that only 33% of people own Aguero and not even all of those players would have captained him.

Anyway, I'm delighted with the week. I got to roll the dice with a captain choice that could have been inspired and still scored strongly with 74 even after it not paying off.

    Roll on the weekend.

I'll probably bottle it when I see the poll numbers on here and on FFS. But Leicester are dire and will be without Morgan and it would be so glorious if it did come off and and :pac:

Hey, listen to me. RVP could have been glorious. It was shît.

For sure, but a calculated risk every once in a while can see you shoot up the rankings. Although going without Costa might be enough risk for me......

Well that's what I thought... that going with FFS captain poll was some kind of immunity for a stand-out crap performance.

But over the last 5 GWs, either the stand-out captain epically failed or there were several stand-out candidates and I always ended up at the wrong end of things. 5 disasters in a row. My worse run in 4 years playing the game :(.

GW rank updated. 80 good for 61k. Swiper you must be on for top 10k!
