    Absolute sickener of a gameweek. Was out for dinner with the other half and he banned my phone for the evening so I just checked the scores now.

    Baines is giving me pain. As for Chadli...well! That was the biggest waste of two transfers and a -4, especially when I have Boyd as first sub. Crap week. May even lose ground and fall to second place in my main league to an opponent who didn't REALISE there was a gameweek, made no subs, and was saved my Hutton and Janmaat in for Costa and ADM.

    :(

    Edited: at least I did captain Aguero. I'd been tempted by a late swap to Baines.

    I'm not going to do the maths but it feels like a 98 point swing opting for RVP over Aguero.

    Always Capt Kun.

    Guzan, Hutton & Chambers helped minimise the captain fail somewhat.

    it's actually scary the fixtures that Aguero has coming up - next 7 games, pretty much against the worse 6 teams defensively (bar QPR).

    Everton
    Leicester
    Palace
    West brom
    Burnley
    Sunderland
    Everton


    If fit has to be captain in all games, if you don't have him - you pretty much need to get him in.

    He's not just an Everton defender though, he's a £7m defender. You don't leave £7m defenders on the bench no matter who they're playing.

    I have nobody else. Robertson, Wisdom, Duff, Baines and Coloccini are my defenders.

    Duff and Coloccini injured. Robertson has lost his place.

    regarding Baines, the argument for buying by most was his attacking ability - City aren't exactly solid in defence, so still chance for him to score or assist.

    Fair enough with that defence.

    I'm not expecting over 2 pts from him on Sat but I couldn't justify benching him unless I had a really strong defence. The 2 pointer at Old Trafford would have been double digits if he didn't miss the penalty. The safe move for my FT is shipping him out though......

    Third best defence in the league.

    Expecting Baines to assist or score against a team that concedes an average of one goal a game this season is a big ask.

    I fully expect Aguero to take advantage of the fifth worst defence.
