    It shouldn't...

Wanna read my posts? See, this is part of the problem here.

Why are you discrimminating against women with gapped vaginas? :(

If you didn't know what it was before now and have no intentions of ever viewing such things why on earth would you want it banned?

Ah here, each to there own and all, if people are into that and enjoy it, that's fine. But you'll have to forgive me for trying to get over the shock and imaginary pain of what I witnessed on google images.

The Tory party only banned these acts in porn so they dont get filmed partaking in them.

Hahahaha. Someone clearly needed a dodgy night away from the wife covered up :P

LOL- we've moved from a 69 to a threesome of posters talking to each other, as if their comedic remarks somehow strengthen their arguments. Textbook message board dynamics.
And now we're allowed threesomes? This is getting even better! Maybe you're not as sexually repressive as I thought!

In all seriousness though, what has two consenting adults doing what they want in a bedroom got to do with you? As long as it's safe and consensual everything is fine. And, by the way, when two porn actors do a shoot, that's consent. They are consenting to do what is scripted. Just saying!

Vomit is saying that due to the influence of the media they should be held to a higher standard than two private individuals.

I made some pretty mild points about porn and now, according to the totally level headed arguers here, I'm:

    1) A Catholic

    2) Like a Muslim

    3) Sexually backwards

    You people crack me up!

    That's the spirit! :D

Nothing wrong with being Catholic btw, has never stopped me getting my freak on, and that whole flagellation thing - it's no wonder Ireland was all whitewashed cottages back in the day, that wasn't whitewash! :pac:

While you're telling people to google, look up "Catholic contraception" ;)

It's because based on what you've posted it's easy to make fun of you, it's like you're the Ned Flanders of this thread.

Nothing!! That's exactly what I'm saying. Bloody hell it would help if people would read my posts instead of jumping all over me.

Again, people that are watching porn are consenting adults. Also, for the record, I have no problem with 15, 16, 17 year olds watching porn. It's healthy. And if they don't like what they see they won't do it. It's when you have people under 14 viewing porn that the problems start.

Talking about Catholicism and calling me Ned Flanders is white noise to me as an atheist

And you're saying porn isn't of a high enough standard, maybe it needs HD? Most of the things listed have been shown in the last 2 Bond films by the way.

Why, in your opinion is female ejaculation not something that should be portrayed in porn?

The bbfc doesn't think it exists and class it as a form of water sports.

That's just plain hilarious if true.

I wish my broadband was of a high-enough standard, my go-to site for porn is so slow to load, even in 240p. :(

Who are the bbfc, and if they are any official body do you not think they should consult a few gynaecologists rather than making assumptions?

I was mostly talking about choking and the like. I've seen that stuff in porn myself and TBH it looks pretty nasty and disrespectful (to say the least) toward women. And let's get real- porn is mostly made for men's entertainment, not the other way around.

I've been with more than one woman who asked me to put my hands around her throat while 'in the throws of passion' (perhaps not actual choking but certainly a bystander wouldn't have been able to tell)

So if it happens in real life (certainly wouldn't appear to be too uncommon anyways) why can't it be depicted in porn?

Genuine question: Do you watch any form of porn?

Not my opinion just posting what I've read, the BBFC is the British Board of Film Classification. They did consults with gynaecologists from what i remember.

I think the amount of sex crimes and the proven influence of the media can't be ignored. And by media here I don't just mean pornography, but all media.

I wouldn't be so sure as you. There's a reason that films have a classification rating. Teenagers often have difficulties in processing information, and especially dealing with new information. It's part and parcel of the development they go under at that age. I think teenagers trying to figure out their sexuality should have the right influences provided for them, and the openness to discuss the issues that arise in their life. I think this thread is a perfect example of how ****ed up people are when it comes to sex, so expecting developing teenagers to be able to negotiate it without the right influences or guidance would be ridiculous. There's a lot of debates to be had on that, about who decides these influences, who provides the guidance, what sexual material is appropriate for teenagers and what sexual media is appropriate for teenagers.

Who is qualified to say that spanking or name calling isn't the right way to have sex, there is no right way and there is no need to control what can be shown.

I was wrong they recognised it in 2009 for the first time but it seems from the op they have changed their minds again.

Just a reminder - He said when he was 14 years old he realised that he enjoyed pinning girls against walls and smacking them on the arse.

and what's wrong with that? When I was 14 I realised I liked boobies and stroking mr Winky.

When I was 16 I realised I love giving women oral pleasure.

As long as it's done between consenting people of legal age and nobody is 'permanently' harmed then what business is it of yours?

I didn't make any judgements on those sex acts. I simply said that the influence of the media (and broader society) needs to be examined in light of attitudes to sex as is seen with the amount of sex crimes and sex orientated abuse.

Just checked there. It's banned because it and piss are indistinguishable on film, apparently.

Are you questioning whether the media influences people?

The reason for the u-turn it seems is because it is too difficult to distinguish between female ejaculate and urine.

If anything we should be teaching people not to be influenced by the media rather then censoring it.

I'm questioning whether it's been "proven" to influence people to become sex criminals.

You said there was a proven link, this proof should be easy to find. I don't think he said people aren't influenced by the media but was more questioning your claim that there is proof it influenced sex crimes.
