Feck it, 1.6 itb plus Costa = the postman. I can always swap them straight back if it comes to it. Suppose I'll have to give him the armband now and all.

He hasn't been the postman since 2012/13 ;)

I know, there's a sack full of unopened letters there for us... he's going to be a combo of Santa & The Postman!!! ;)

    No news on Chadli??

One cannot be a postman if he doesn't deliver:D

    You guys are crazy.

    Look:

Get Bony instead and you can afford Baines, Ivanovic and 1 additional premium midfielder.

12.4m is a crazy price to pay for him at this stage.

    Who to get for ADM?

Already have 3 Chelsea (Azpi, Fab, Costa) and my midfield is Sanchez-Fab-Siggy-Boyd & ADM.

I'm stuck here. Would love Hazard but not sure it justifies a -4...

    Here's my full team
    Forster Jakupovic
    Azpi Chambers Dummett Wisdom Duff
    Sanchez Fab Siggy ADM Boyd
    Costa Aguero Austin

Did ADM -> Hazard & Costa -> Bony in the end.

Should have done it yesterday but just realised I bought back Costa at £10.9m so if he drops tonight he's already down to the price I sold him for.

Rooney injury scare backed me off.

Di Maria and Pelle -> Downing and Rooney -4.

    @parlance.
In fairness you've been red hot in who to back and who to ditch the last while.

    An Rvp masterstroke....... Hmmmm...

He has apart from going mainstream to get costa back in 2 weeks ago.

    Slightly nervous today! :)

Although the front line of Aguero, Bony and RVP does look awesome. You'll have to have it!!

I'm close to making the following changes for a -4:

    ADM, Downing, Costa out;

    Hazard, Siggy, Rooney in.

Downing for Siggy was a move I made a couple of weeks back to fund Sanchez - really didn't want to do it, and now I can afford to get him back.

Can anyone spot any flaws in this plan? I'll leave it go until later - still worried about that Rooney yellow flag, even though he should be fine for tomorrow by all accounts.

I did Di Maria to Sterling last night.

Because I'm insane and expect things to change that haven't been the case for quite a while.

Are you sure siggy will outscore downing by 4 points? If not id hold off that one for a week.

I actually considered that move. But then again I also considered cesc, mirallas, nasri, eriksen, chadli and downing. Went for Oscar in the end.

Thinking of doing Krul, ADM, Costa -> Foster, Hazard, Rooney. Would leave me with 0.0 in the bank. Thoughts?

I'm blaming alcohol and hangovers for allowing ADM to drop twice in a row without any action :(

    Lads.

I don't want to talk anyone out of a transfer but it's 12.4 million!!! Is the celtic tiger back? :D

Austin is 6m. Bony is 8m. Kane is under 5 million! All with better records and allows a 5m dud midfileder to become Chadli or Hazard or Yaya or Sanchez.

Having slept on it I can safely say that RVP in would be madness. I was weakening but now I'm 99% set against it again :)

Just finished reading the property supplement and I nearly spat out my cavier bagel when I glanced at this....

I have 3.2m itb, am dumping Costa and have no problem taking a punt on RVP. While he is excessively expensive, I can afford him at present so it's all down to how many points he can get me. If it doesn't work out at least that spot can be filled by any other striker which wouldn't be the case if I opted for Bony (and upgraded MF) to go with my Aguero & Austin combo.

It's a punt but one that should hopefully minimise transfers for me.

Now... I'm off to buy a cardboard box in Bulgaria

You'd want to sort yourself out.

Want to do Costa -> Rooney, but worried he won't start. Any idea of he'll be ok for tomorrow?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Easy for you to say Mr. Moneybags :P

There's something about being on a WC and gravitating towards RVP every single time though. I'd be losing Mirallas though :( Many would argue that's no bad thing though.

I think you would be mad to put rvp in your wildcard as it would mean changing 3 or 4 of your other picks to get him in I'd imagine. When I wildcarded in gw 3 I got in rvp and made him capt for gw 3 and 4 he got me a 1 and 2 pointer. The same thing happened me The year before on wildcard with rvp.For the lads that have got him in on a one week punt to make him captain I can see the logic but I'd have waited till the lineups on Tuesday to do that move. He could be rested for Falcao. Both him and Falcao could start and if that's the case Falcao may be a better choice than rvp as you could keep Falcao long term.

With Costa out this week, I decided to ship out Liam Moore -> Aaron Cresswell and do Di Maria -> Hazard.

I was hell bent on finally dumping Sterling until I watched MOTD last night, if not for very poor finishing he would have had at least two assists on Saturday, came close to scoring a couple as well. Combined with his good form in Europe last week I think I may stick with him.
I'll have to get rid of Milner somehow so it will probably be a downgrade on Clyne to afford Siggy or possibly Mirallas. Eriksen can wait but he'll be back in my team shortly.

    As for the postman:rolleyes:
Listening to Stan Collymore on talksport on Saturda night the united fans don't even think he's worth his place in the team despite that goal, a fit Falcao will put him under serious pressure, his days of being a 90 minute man could be over.
