Siggy shoots straight at the keeper though. I'd rather have a player trying to hit corners and a lower % than one who always puts it down the middle. That being said, I would go for Siggy over Eriksen due to the 1m difference and I don't think Spurs players can be trusted.

True you can have 100% accuracy but its no good if you are just tapping it to the keeper! Unless its Mingolet.

13 points iirc! That's 13! Do you not remember?!

I just remember the 2,0,1, in the three weeks before that!

Did Pelle and Tadic out for ADM and Austin tonight before I changed my mind and tried to do something clever in defence like get a second Swansea defender which was trying to tempt me this afternoon.

Wouldn't Rooney and Costa be a lot more expensive than Pelle and Aguero?

I cannot stress enough what a mistake you are making by going with Rooney over Aguero at the moment, that 20 point lead could be wiped out in 10 minutes.

Yeah, about 1.5 or 2m more... I dig the love for Aguero, he's great but I looked at it like this:

    a) Rooney - Uniteds fixtures and two home games,
    b) Costa - points machine and Chelsea are flying
    c) Selling Clyne and Pelle, Southampton have woeful fixtures coming up.

So to keep Fab, Hazard and Costa, and putting faith in Rooney - I had to sell Aguero.

Take next gameweek.. Aguero is away to Southampton. United home to hull and Chelsea away to Sunderland. I fancy my chances points wise there.

The next game week sees Chelsea home to a week Spurs and United home again to Stoke. City's bogey team is Sunderland (Im clutching a bit there)

The next gameweek after that sees City play Everton - tough one to call. By then I might consider bringing Aguero back in as Cities games after that are Leicester and Palace.

But...............its all over Xmas too so anything can happen!

    Forster | Elliott
    Baines | Naylor | Wilson | Duff | Yun
    Hazard | Sánchez | Siggy | Downing | Marney
    Aguero | Costa | Pellè

Apart from the doubts surrounding Baines, thinking of a -4 and replace:
Wilson -˃ Chelsea defender (Azpi? Terry?)
    Pellè -˃ Austin

    Any opinions?

Hit for a defender is always tricky but I think that one looks pretty good I doubt it will take long to make the points back. Go with whichever you think is least likely to be rotated over Christmas.

I'm thinking Terry, always a threat going frw and probably wont be rested by mourinho... Azpi will always have Filipe Luís in his shadow...

Terry is definitely the one people feel won't be rested but surely he can't keep on playing so much eventually he'll get to an age where he will need a rest!

Will more than likely do Pelle and Forster out for Bony and Courtois. I was planning on getting Green and Terry but have now decided on Courtois and Caulker who I'll hopefully get in the next few weeks.

I'm tempted to swap out Sanchez for Hazard.

I'm tempted to swap out Sanchez for Hazard.

    Might I ask why?
Sanchez is pretty much the only source of Arsenal goals at the moment.
Arsenal can't get much worse and he's still banging them in. Think what he'll be like when they start to improve (as they did v Dortmund)

This Krul injury scare could leave me with no keeper (Mannone), so may have to use my FT to bring in Heaton or Guzan

Thank God I've Pantillimon as my back up... Allways thought he'd get the number 1 shirt at Sunderland, have my 3 outfield subs all injured Vlaar Tiote Taylor, no free transfers either, I'm just going too gamble everyone else starts and Bony (my captain) gets a hattrick

Just itchy transfer finger I think. I'll hold for now I think but he's too expensive to go on a string of 2 pointers.

Is it worth taking a -4 to take out Baines for Ivanovic?

No price loss (bought him at 7.3)

As is hazard. Sanchez has 12 or 13 goals in 18 games for arsenal and is more consistent ff wise than hazard. Hazard gets most of his points in home games.

Any recommendations on keepers? I've had the Forster/Hamer combo for quite a while and need to switch it up.

I had considered a straight switch of Forster to Fabianski but I'm doubling up on Swansea's defence then.

I'm looking at a ~9m combo. The likes of Guzan, Heaton and Adrian are on my radar. Any recommendations?

Guzan has been very good to me and he looks to get better over his next 10 games.

    Burnley (A)
    Palace (A)
    Leicester (H)
    West Brom (A)
    United (H)
    Swansea (A)
    Sunderland (H)
    Palace (H)
    Leicester (A)
    Liverpool (H)

The only fixtures you'd be nervous about are United and Liverpool and both of them are home games, which lessens the worry

I'm tempted to swap out Sanchez for Hazard.

Complete madness if you ask me. I can see Sanchez being the top scoring mid or even player in the game the way he is playing. He shoots from anywhere. He could have had a couple last weekend but for his team mates failing to get the ball to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,256 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

I've a choice of three transfers:

    Moore to Terry
    Forster to Green
    Fabregas to Hazard

My thinking is Chelsea are away so I'll go Forster to Green for now and then bring Hazard in for the midweek Chelsea home game vs Spurs. Fab may even get his yellow card tomorrow.

    Opinions?
