    Folks, I have a €6 off a €40 spend voucher.
Any suggestions on how I can maximise the value in that discount??

Buy €50 worth of goods in Tesco and use a €10 Aldi (or other) spend & save voucher (if you have one) to knock that down to €40. Then use the €6 Tesco voucher to knock that down to €34!

£28.22 per litre so £12.70 when VAT is added for a litre of standard vodka/gin etc and £13.54 for whiskey.

Our equivalent is €19.59 and €20.89 respectively so the likely price point on the same margins (really as loss leader) would be €22/23

So the offer for Ireland appears to be buy 3 1L bottles, get 25% off with the example given is a litre of Smirnoff for €21 after offer. I suspect this is the loss leader of the lot and the others will be marginally more expensive.

Any less than €20 and they're not only making a loss on the product cost, they're paying the state on your behalf!

Bought 6 bottles of wine today, total €68, minus 25% came to 51, took off €10 aldi voucher, plus €8 tesco till splt plus 2.58 price promise receipt, came to 30.42.

Happy days, always forget to use the price promise receipts.....

They are discount offers that print off at the bottom of your till receipt

Usually, a price promise.... If you shopped in aldi Lidl you would have saved 20c, 49c etc.

Then a petrol one, 5c or 10c off.....

Since I am a tesco mobile PAYG I get points, and the last few have been 8 euro off 50 spend,

They spit out after the receipt, I keep getting €1 off €10 fruit veg spend, someone trying to tell me something, lol

The petrol vouchers in some places are a bit of a joke, For example, a couple of weeks back the petrol station in Cork was around 5c-6c more expensive than all of the stations in the area, presumably due to the fact they were accepting the coupons.

I got a €6 off when you spend €40 on toys!!! Just wondering does it HAVE to be on toys or like the aldi/dunnes/svalu vouchers can it be used against anything as long as its a €40 spend??

Officially yes, but your best bet would be to try a self service checkout and act confused if it doesn't work and they ask you why you tried it.

It's actually up. The discretion of the cashier and manager. Some of the cashiers n my local want take them, while there's do.

The signs say competitor vouchers, they don't say they can use them with local vouchers,

I pointed out the is no where in writing that they say cannt be used in conjunction with other coupons, but it is the discretion locally.
