Reckon these lads have calmed down at all in the years since?

Must be weird playing this live if you've just had a great day.

Oh dear. A bullet in your f***in head.

    Sounds serious.

It's all gone a bit heavy the last few songs.

Yeah. And not really in the good way.

I don't deny Radiohead were good, but I can't think of any situation where i would actually want to listen to them.

I thought The Bends was a very good album. They went a bit left field for me after that.

Yeah, it's just showboating. The boy's got talent but it's like beating the full back again and again to show off, when you just want him to ping in a decent cross. Bill.

God i hate those see through guitars.

    This show needs more Country.

    And Western.

All credit to Quantum Physics, but not at 00.48 on a Saturday Night.

A particle is only there when we observe it? Not for me, Clive.

Newtons laws of motion are only applicable in a super quantum environment?

    He'll be disappointed with that.

Haven't seen the dancers in a while. Legs Inc, is it? All a bit strange, i'd have to say.

Hilarious they didn't see fit even to stick a token fella in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,779 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

    That's much better!

This is my favourite Thin Lizzy tune. Bleedin deadly.

Edit: I've wondered for years how to get that sound on the guitar...is he just using a bit of whammy bar? Outstanding!!

"Legs and Co - what are your thoughts on Quantum Physics? Does the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle ever cross your mind when you are doing chessy dances?"

They had a token chap on to be John Travolta to their 5 x Olivia Newton John for the weeks and weeks that they were in the charts. I think that was a one off.

I think Annie and Dave should ditch the rest of the Tourists, and form The Eurythmics.

Is 79 not renowned for being a great year for music?

The f***in Moody Blues. My old man loves them. It's just sooooo bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,779 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Look at yer man playing his flute.

Imagine a bunch of lads with guitars coming up with this bollocks. Jesus.

In defence of The Moody Blues, Denny Laine was one of their members before he joined Wings. That has to be to their credit.

For some reason Kool and The Gang reminds me of Blazin Saddles.

"Ay, where the white women at?"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,779 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Oy, the danger of old TOTP.

    Nay guitar riffs in this.

I'm getting an ad for Rom Masseys Undertakers on this page

Where did it all go wrong? :p

    I can't take the sparrows, I think I'll call it a night.

Good to have you back, Donie :)

Shawaddywaddy always makes me think of Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Like Mock the Week, it's a show that should be good, but always just ends up pissing me off.
