    lads, go to your mates, brothers, fathers, uncles and shake their hands and appreciate your fellow men.

    Ladies appreciate the men in your lives today. Call your father, text your uncle and place a big kiss on the man in your life.

    Men, If you don't feel right inside, seek help. If you know a man who needs help, support then offer your help and support.

    Talk about issues affecting men that largely gets snubbed.

    Today is International Men's Day and it should be recognised more than it is.

    Before the usual, 'sure isn't every day men's day' and 'why is it needed' responses bare in mind....

    Objectives of International Men's Day include a focus on men's and boy's health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality, and highlighting positive male role models. It is an occasion for men to celebrate their achievements and contributions, in particular their contributions to community, family, marriage, and child care while highlighting the discrimination against them.
