I'm annoyed at how meek I turn when I go to the hairdresser. I never stand up for myself and always let them cut off more than I want, just so that I can avoid the argument. She even asked if the parting was in the right place (it wasn't) and I just smiled and said it was perfect. What's wrong with me?!

Also annoyed that she managed to pull the earring out of the top of my ear while drying my hair.

Ah neighbour of ours called our house a few years ago to see if his son had ended up at ours after a night out with my brother. My mum said, "no, I think he went off to a party with some girl" and yer man said, "I know what kind of party he was at, a bucking pary for two" - my respect for him died that day :(

It's called Redudant Acronym Syndrome, or RAS Syndrome for short.

AIB Bank is another of those things ...
And don't let me even get started about their bloody ads. 'Brave' is not how I feel when they are on tv.

I hate that brave ad. That one that talks on it sounds like my voice apparently. Child like voice

I'm sorry to say my fellow pensioners are the subject of my ire today. Specifically those that moan constantly: I'm old: I'm on a pension: I have to gather twigs to light a fire: I can't afford food: I can't afford anything: I'm old.......
We all have the same minimum pension. You can certainly eat well and keep warm on it if you didn't waste it on homing stray cats or going to bingo.

Anyway, god keep me away from old people today!

That's me done. Vented. Now to the hoovering, before a trip to town for a newspaper.
    Smiley face is back on!

As in re- homing or giving a home to. Not in the sense of homing pigeons. 😸🐦

I know what re-homing means, I was sad that you thought it was a waste of time.
