Anyone any more news on 'brick boy'?

I find it odd, 48 hrs later he seemingly hasn't been charged yet.

Indeed. And we saw their thuggery throwing that woman into a bollard. Should have been attempted murder.

All that to keep the decent people decent. Once the decent peoples hands don't get dirty.

It was only a rubber brick.

That or Gardaí are lavishly spending on armoured glass for patrol cars. lack of resources my butt.

I find it utterly despicable that people go around calling the gardai( as a force) thugs, or that ordinary Sierra workers are too,

No wonder this campaign is doomed , of 15,000 text votes today on Joe Duffy 56% said the protest was NOT peaceful.

Im completely against IW, I am for a reasonable water charge . But this campaign is being hi-jacked by anarchists, anti-police types , and looney leftists. The Middle ground support for this campaign is fading away before your eyes.

Like when the gardai is riddled with corruption, the people stick together and don't go ratting and out one of their own.

    Highest rated comment on youtube.
I found that if you do not throw yourself onto a car, which is carrying the head of state, and slap on the bonnet, you do not find yourself being launched away from the car, and towards a pole at a high speed, by the state police force, whose assignment is currently to protect the head of state.

Alternatively, I've found that if you instead move to a Country which has an armed police force, such as the United States, or Russia, you can avoid this outcome entirely, as you will be riddled with bullets before you manage to reach the bonnet.

In general, throughout my research, I've found that the best course of action is actually to NOT throw yourself onto the bonnet of a car containing the head of state, whilst it is under protection by the state police force. Further to this, it is also good practice to not then, slap the bonnet a few times for good measure. In my findings, I have noticed a dramatic drop of incidents involving people being launched away from said cars by the state police force, in individuals who do not throw themselves at the aforementioned cars carrying the head of state.

I trust this will bring the matter to a close.

    Cordially,

    Common ****ing sense.

The gardai don't issue press releases for every arrest.

Fine, lets stick to the fundamental point if disagreement between us. You see a new era in the Irish in the standards they demand from public figures.

I do not see a scintilla of real evidence for this. Of course, almost everybody publicly insists that they do. But in the privacy of the ballot box ...

    Explain Michael Lowry.

Explain why all the protests in Europe all coincided with economic hardship.

If we had a more direct democratic democracy than the 4 year ballot system and the whip system. Lowry wouldnt be in office. Why do you keep coming back to this guy like i personally have control over him?

Is ejecting him from office not something you would subscribe to ? because that is the direction of my posts.

I fear you are so lost in your malaise that you have missed what i have been getting at

Most of them aren't, but like any grouping you'll always find a few arseholes.

Such a disgusting thing to say. Many of those people would die for you without thinking. They'd put themselves in front of a gunman or jump into a river if needed.

Not on a personal level, no. But as an institution, vicious.

They'd also clatter me a baton or shoot me if it came to it to protect their little mafia state.

And the army are in waiting and training with their heavy assault rifles, Assad style.

You don't. But the electorate in Tipperary have control over whether he sits in the Dáil or not.

And that they think fit that he does somewhat undermines your theory that we are no longer prepared to accept low standards in high office.

Then clearly she should bring charges. I see no reason why that individual action by that Garda should not result in his prosecution . But thats all that is relevant about this incident.

No all that confirms is the people in a small section of tipperary are prepared to accept low standards of office.

    Now go again.

Im still not sure what Lowry has to do with IW or this thread in general.

    il hang on.

Of course they're not going to let the state descend into anarchy. They will use force if necessary to protect the democratic desires of Irish people. If you want change then go for election or vote for someone else.
