There hasn't been a good adventure thread in ages. A thread that sucks you in and gets you emotionally invested in a story whether real or some mental's fantasy. The great misogyny battle of '14 is something I've nae interest in either tbh.

It's normally

- 1st couple of pages on a thread are full of people trying (and usually failing) to be funny
- Next few pages are the ones worth reading
- Because then it normally descends into a few posters nit picking, derailing the thread and basically ruining any discussion or laughs

Its rare to find a thread that deviates from the above. God be with the days when you'd have a thread from some guy looking to track down some wan he half saw being interviewed on Nationwide or something

I agree with the post above by Hrududu.
Recently a mod came on a thread and posted 14 times, most of those posts criticising other posts.
I think a limit of about three posts is enough for anyone on a thread. State your position and leave. It gets boring when people in power start throwing their weight about.

It used to be good. A few funny threads here, few serious discussions here, with the odd p*ss-taker who was easily ignored.

But now, way too many people nit-picking over people's spelling, what words they use, how they type their paragraphs, taking the p*ss out of some serious discussions to a point where people don't even bother to try and pick it back up to where it was before. All to try and be funny, or to get a "thanks" on their post.

I like posting in here before, but I don't bother anymore. Too much intimidation and tension sometimes.

Here it's a laugh or pointing out the madness of the various God squads who have appeared recently. Above any other forum this one is not to be taken seriously.
