Now now, don't be tarring everyone. I'm pro meters but I can see that that's shopped.

The brick doesn't even match the local architecture. Also, even the scumbag protesters wouldn't be brave enough to so something like that when not in a crowd.

And there is a perfectly legitimate reason why you might not see half his foot, it's angled at such a way that it's blocked by his leg.

    Ah, it will.
They'll have to work on it a bit first, maybe put a Sinn Fein logo on his jacket.

The Indo relies on sensationalist misleading headlines and over-the-top opinion pieces, but anyone who thinks that they'd publish a photoshopped picture with the name of one of their own photographers attached to it wants their head read. It belongs in the conspiracy theory forum.

Yeah, cause allowing one man control most of the media output in this country is a sterling idea. Anyone who thinks allowing that to happen and things like this wont happen are very naive indeed.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Social media might be have many negatives, however it's an excellent resource for news that you will not see in the mainstream media, this for example i don't believe would ever be shown on RTE , IW contractors pushing and shoving an old man and trying to force his gate open while they install a meter, whereabouts were the garda here, selected policing or none at all has become a major issue.

    absolutely shocking
    http://www.theliberal.ie/must-watch-video-truly-shocking-property-owner-hospitalized-by-irish-water-thugs/

The video shows the 'old man' pushing and shoving, being aggressive, accidentally hitting a woman in the stomach with a barrier, being dragged away by his own people, while the neighbour with the camera is shouting and cursing. The only time the workers did anything like pushing was when they raised their hands to stop him running into the area they were working. He was pushing against them and they were standing their ground.

If the cops were around, it's him they should have arrested.

Either you didn't see the part where they directed a high powered jet of water from a pressure hose at his crotch, or you didn't type that post with a straight face.

    Which was it?

So my question stands so we are clear . The protesters are scumbags according to you ?

As said earlier , i said it was foolish for her to go to Jobstown , but it has also been said Galwayguy " I bet Joan ain't surprised she got the reception she got. In fact, I think they anticipated it. "

But heck by your valuation i am a scumbag too because i protest. Hardly fair now is it ?

Did you even read what I posted?

People who cause trouble are, not ordinary protesters.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that I think the pic hasn't been photoshopped, I never said it wasn't. It looks fake as hell. My point is that saying that it's definitely fake because you can't see all of his foot is dumb.
