Nice video, was going to ask what you used to record it but see you mention MSI. What sort of video editing tool do you use to add text etc?

Cheers Andrew76, I use sony vegas pro12 to edit, but for the text I use the Youtube annotations, so easy to use....upload video, and add the text when and where you want. Simples:D

Very slow load times last night, also twice on the way back from buying Gallite for a nice profit, got stuck twice while disengaging supercruise. Had to log out and come back in, luckily on the 3rd attempt it worked, 40,000+ credits:-) Friend of mine in UK also had slow loading times and problems getting stuck in hyperspace last night. Still a bit of tweaking needed to stabilise this. I really hope it holds up when the full release is out, very frustrating trying to finish just 1 mission.

How much of it will be utterly worthless with no reason to ever go there though? Same question for No Mans Sky and Star Citizen.

Was working fine for me yesterday.
Although at one point I did lose all my missions.
Logged off, logged back on and they reappeared... Along with a 30k fine and a load of stolen cargo!

Yesterday was my first time playing since patches 3.0.3/3.0.4 came out - was laggy as hell for me especially supercruise. I also ended up with stolen cargo presumably because I failed some missions - time ran out with the lag or just a bug. It's definitely not as smooth for me as 3.0.2 was.

I hope they support crossfire in the final release. Really want to reduce the VR judders im getting.

Practically unplayable for me since 3.04 came out. I crash 4/5 times on loading, crash on hyperspace and crash if I open the map.

I had just saved 300k and 16T of superconductors on its way to chu hub, I figured I would carry one more load before I traded it in to grab a cobra. Hopefully it will be intact when i do manage to log back in, which i expect will be either 3.05 or failing that hopefully when gamma comes out on 22nd.

Really frustrating, I was enjoying this and it was working absolutely fine until 3.04 released.

The game is still in beta. They are constantly going to add stuff to the game. As DB said. We have a house with walls, now we need to put in the furniture. I'm sure there will be plenty to explore, find, and do. If exploration is not your thing, then i wouldn't even consider this game. This is not a shoot em up, There is a lot more to come with this game..... and frankly i can't wait:-)
As for the connection /disconnecting issues, seems just Sunday evenings I have that problem....

I know but whats the point in showing a galaxy map and millions of stars? They're never going to add that much "furniture". There will be a known number of unique missions and this will be a very low number when compared to that vast galaxy, still the #1 game I'm looking forward to, probably ever, but lets be realistic here.

Yeah, I know what you're saying, but then how many is too much. They are trying something that has never been done before. Apart from the missions(of which I'm sure many will be proceduraly (how do you spell that right?) generated as well) you can get data on new systems, planets, etc and sell that for a nice price at a starport that hasn't got that data yet, if you don't get pirated on the way back that is;-) All of which you can spend on the biggest ass mothership you can get, and rule the Milky way MUAHAHAHAH......

Open play continues to be unplayable but at least in 3.03 solo play was practically bug free.... in comes 3.04 and all of a sudden it takes a stupid amount of time to come out of hyperspace, have docking requests granted and interdictions are becoming a pain in the hole to escape.

Do boardsies play together? Is it possible to join some kind of group and play together? It gets lonely out there.

Just a little story about last night. So I was in Rakapila and found on the bulletin board something with a 175,000 reward! Biggest I've been able to take so far,so I had a look. Bring 10T of gold for the reward. Upgraded my cargo to 12T (flying a Hauler now) and off I went. I used Thrudds site to find somewhere with gold. 4 jumps later I docked and bought 10T of gold. Now you would think I could just jump all the way back again? NO. The gold was too heavy and limited my jump distance, so I had to try to get back by a different route. Only problem was, I could only jump between two places! So I had to sell 6T back and jump to a system closer to base. Then had to make two more stops in starports to get more gold, as one of them only had 1T. Eventually after 3/4 interdictions (people like free gold) (which i managed to evade) and a few more jumps, I finally made it back with all 10T of gold. Getting ever so close to a Cobra now. I love the way that nothing is ever straight forward, and every action has a consequence. It just makes the game so much more interesting. All in all it took me just over 90 mins to make the run, but the sense of satisfaction that I got at the end was awesome:-)
**didn't have any disconnections or freeze ups thank god**

I wonder could you have sold one of your weapons to reduce your mass? another way is to make a few jumps so that your fuel mass is lower.

A mate of mine even sold his shields to reduce mass...risky but can be rewarding!

A few of us play on gaellords.com teamspeak and anyone is welcome to join. Unfortunately the netcode in E: D is the one big dissapointment with this game so it can be difficult to keep everyone in the same instance. It doesnt really matter though as we usually end up taking different missions anyway

good Idea, but are they not loaned, or is that just the (free) sidewinder? I didn't do anything to the Hauler except upgrade cargo bay. Money making machine$$$

Seriously tempted to pick this up now, but it's pay €60 and play a buggy limited version now, or pay €40 and wait it out for a few weeks. Why is this decision so difficult!

my thinking exactly :/ I buy into far too many alphas/betas as it is.. I then end up not playing them on release

Not touching it for a year at least, then Ill build a monster pc and buy a proper Sitek stick and throttle, steering wheel, and a consumer Oculus Rift. Christmas 2015 is going to be so good.

Yea, I'm kinda wondering how the full release is going to work out and what sort of game breaking problems will be run into. It's difficult to see how something of this scope and scale could avoid it, but I sincerely hope it's kept to a minimum.

I still have those hardware upgrades that need doing, so no point in looking at this seriously yet :)

definitely wait at this stage. There seems to be a lot more bugs and disconnections in the last week so perhaps they have accelerated the testing in preparation for release

Unplayable for me atm. Old CPU (though it meets recommended specs) and high end graphics card - GTX 970. I have read lost of people with good specs struggling, though there seems to be plenty who have no problems. My problems started in 3.04 but I had only joined a few days before that.

Seems if you are in BETA you get to start the game and progress from the 22nd of November ahead of the full release in December. I just discovered this evening that progress carries into the full game.

hopefully the Gamma release on 22 November will be more stable than the current version, which at least for me crashes to desktop constantly.

    Beta 3.05 released.

Hasn't fixed my constant crashing though

Decided to stop playing this game until it's released. Too many bugs and all and I can't do missions at all. Interdiction is a real pain in the hole as well so for the time being, I'm stepping away from this and going back to BF4 until December.

Cheers will test that out. Hopefully can't be any worse than 3.0.4! Bit worrying the types of issues folks are getting this close to the release date.

I know. I have invested in a new HOTAS stick and a new graphics card especially for this. Was alot of fun for the few days I played it in 3.03, since 3.04 hit i have barely managed to log in 5 times and each of those lasted until one hyperspace jump or one opening of galactic map.

I like the idea of getting a head start from 22/11, to try and make some cash before the beginning zones get crowded out, but not optimistic I will even be able to play on 16/12 at this stage.
