Does anyone know of any online organic health food stores offering better value than the high street?

I've found my local store is becoming prohibitively expensive

    What are you after exactly.

Many use iherb but customs seem to be cracking down and charging VAT on stuff which should be zero rated, and it proves difficult to get a refund. If you order below a certain limit, about €26.08 including shipping, it should be OK.

The stated limit is €22 but they also state they do not collect VAT below €6, so at the current vat rate its €26.08.

Some supermarkets have more and more stuff in. Tesco now have both virgin & non-virgin coconut oil, far cheaper than many health food shops. Amazon have some stuff too.

Also if you want bigger bags of say grains just ask the health shop. I asked mine and was offered I think 3kg bags at about half the price per kilo that they sell 500g bags of grain for, and it was the same brand.

General organic wholefoods - rice cakes, nut butters, tahini, quinoa etc- and supplements.

I posted elsewhere about food-source multivitamins. I started these recently but they're expensive http://www.naturesplus.co.uk/products/productdetail.php?productNumber=UE30711 (price paid €36.95)
