I moved Siggy out for Downing this week.
Still dont have Sanchez but just could not summon up the courage to get rid of Di Maria or Fabregas.

I may down grade Baines next week and take a -4 to upgrade Tadic to Sanchez leaving me with Fab, Sanchez and ADM in mid field with Downing and the star that is Lee Catermole.

Or maybe not! I cant get Walcott out of my mind, so if he can get more than 60 mins under his belt I may be tempted.

Agreed, Fabregas has one goal and 9 assists, and has only blanked once, iirc. I'd take that over somebody who might run amok against poor opposition any day.

Sky Sports News saying that Costa has been left out of the Spain squad!!

Think it's resting him as opposed to a fresh injury but I don't know for sure

And yet Hazard has only 7 points less than Fab (61 v 54) having played slightly less minutes (889 v 857).

Fab has been consistent and Haz as usual has been erratic but has nearly matched him. But his form and stats suggest Haz has been unlucky not to return more FPL points. Based on this and the penalties situation I'm taking a calculated gamble that Hazard will outscore Fab over the next 9 or 10 weeks.

One more reason to bank that transfer.....

And having sold him this week, my interpretation shifts from "Jose has agreed a plan and they're keeping him fit for Chelsea" to "HE'S CROCKED. HE'S CROCKED!!!"

I literally can't decide on which transfer to make - so I'm looking for some FSA wisdom! Happy enough with GKs and defenders. Essentially I'm trying to decide which of Sanchez and Downing to bring in. Have 1Ft.

    Front 8:
    Cesc - Hazard - ADM - Siggy - Boyd
    Pelle - Aguero - Welbeck

First problem: 1.4 in the bank, so can do Sanchez in for any of Hazard, Cesc or ADM. I'm decided on keeping ADM, so it's currently a question of Hazard or Cesc. Problem with dumping Cesc is, I think he's a season keeper, and I love his consistency. Will lose quite a bit of money on that if I get rid of him, only to want him back in a couple of weeks. Problem with keeping Cesc is, he's likely to miss a game soon.

Second problem: whether to switch Siggy out for Downing.Similarly to Cesc, I'll quite a bit of money on Siggy if I get rid, only to want him back in a couple of weeks (have already lose 0.1 with my dilly dallying!). However, as a villa fan, I'm well aware that we are awful, so bringing in a W Ham player this week could be a good idea. Another reason I'm second guessing this transfer is that I think Welbeck out for Sahko could be a very good one -

So to summarise, I see my options as:

    1. Cesc/Haz out for Sanchez. 0 pts hit.
    2. Cesc/Haz and Siggy out, Sanchez and Downing in. 4 pt hit
    3. Cesc/Haz and Welbeck out, Sanchez and Sahko in. 4 pt hit
    4. Bank the transfer and wait tip next week to have 2fts.

    Anything stand out to anyone?!

After deciding on banking my transfer and knowing Costa will be going for an op after the Int. break, I will have to take Costa out.

Who is there to replace Costa (already have Aguero & Sakho)? Rooney?

If so, do it this week Man Utd at home to Palace?

Id either do cesc to sanchez or bank the transfer. With cesc to sanchez you may not lose too much value. Sanchez will more than likely go up a bit more and with a bit of luck fab gets suspended and he comes back down to 9.6.

There has been no confirmation about this op yet its just speculation. If he does need an op though its a no brainer he gets it down after the liverpool game.

It won't happen before the Liverpool game for sure:D

“We have reached the decision with doctors from Chelsea,” Del Bosque confirmed at a Press conference, AS reports.“He is taking a break because of discomfort in his pelvis. The fitness of Costa and Spain’s handling of the striker has been a contentious point between Del Bosque and Blues manager Jose Mourinho.

West brom at home is a plum fixture for costa. Captain for sure BUT this constant will he won't he is doing my head in
I'll keep him for west brom I suppose but after that I may switch him out to get hazard in as Chelsea cover instead

Is Costa out for Rooney a good move?

If Costa is fit, no. If he goes for surgery, maybe depending on form (I wouldn't get him personally). I'd rather have ADM though to be honest, Rooney was playing very deep for a player taking up a striker position in fantasy for me. ADM was getting further forward more often and is a midfielder.

Jose Mourinho confirms the whole team is fit.

Diego Costa has not been called up for the Spain international team.

However, Mourinho has declared him available against Liverpool.

He said: "He is ready to play but not for the national team. In those days he will rest.

"I want to make it clear that I did nothing for that [Costa's emission] to happen.

"He has to go in the right direction."

Costa will start and Loic Remy is ready to rejoin the group.

    Ah balls.

Rolando Aarons is a doubt due to a "knock" according to Pardew. There goes one way of factoring in Sanchez in just -4.

would he not be 1st sub for you most weeks anyway? int'l break after this so surely he'd be back for the following gw. aarons could be a nice little differential - electric player and should see game time with obertan out long term. i have my eye on Aarons, albeit for the fantasyleague.com variant of the game (i can wait for lineups before pulling the trigger in that game tho - transfers are extremely precious!)

    Cheers.

The more I think about it, the more I'm considering Hazard and Welbeck out, Sanchez and Sahko in, for -4.

I've given Welbeck 5 weeks, and his returns have been quite poor. I'm getting in Sanchez so will continue to have Arsenal coverage. I want a West ham attacker, but the more I think about it, the more the Welbeck to Sahko move makes sense rather than the Siggy to Downing move.

Not right now. He'd be my 4th mid.

I'm neither cash rich nor do I have my precious little wealth in easily moved assets.

I'm contemplating a -8 which would feature Sanchez, Downing and downgrading Bardsley as an alternative. I've got both PVA and Moore who may have lost his place which screams use the WC but I'd be ditching Tadic and De Gea who I'd like for another week so if I can find a mid for 5.0 I'd be happy with for a few weeks before I ultimately will WC soon it'd be ideal.

Fair play to the 23,000 people that have brought Di Maria in this week and have halted his drop... :(

Already have Clyne, Tadic and Pelle. When the Saints train derails in a few weeks I'll be first to jump off :pac:

Like the majority!! Though it will be interesting to see how the Saints fair with their tougher set of fixtures. I'm tempted to hold on to Clyne i reckon they can still pull a few clean sheets and Clyne will always chip in with the odd attacking return.
