Carers form (CR2)

Hi, looking for some help, we have carers allowance for one of our children, we are applying for it for our second, do we need to complete the main carers form (CR1) as well as the form for additional persons (CR2) or do we need to complete CR2 only. Thanks

It depends on who is claiming I think (ie the carer). If you have completed a CR1 form and you wish to submit a claim for an additional person, you just complete the CR2 provided your first claim is still open.
It might be best to contact the dept, waiting times are long enough without being then told you've submitted the wrong form and you have to start all over again (as happened to me).
