Had a watch of the final Saturday Night's Main Event for 1992 yesterday. T'was glorious - they don't do events like they used to.

Macho Man vs Jake the Snake was one match.

Main event was Hogan / Sid vs Undertaker / Ric Flair. Man, Sid was awesome on the mic! A pure lunatic, but really compelling at the same time.

Been rewatching all the Nitro's, Clashes and PPV's of 95/96 pre-nWo, while some of it is cringe-worthy (Mostly anything with Hogan and Dungeon of Doom) a lot of it is great fun. Something I found interesting was I've always read/heard people were sick of Hogan before he agreed to turn heel and it was done to freshen up his character but man sometimes he really does get quite audibly jeered by the crowd. Considering back then IWC wasn't really a thing or at least much smaller compared to now its very interesting listening to a crowd reject their top babyface.

anyone else having problems signing in all im getting is a splash screen asking me to sign upto the network without actually letting me get to the network itself

Im still using hola with chrome

Wasn't the last SNME in October or November with Shawn Michaels vs. Davey Boy Smith?

Don't think it goes active here until 8pmish. At this stage you may as well wait until then. For those of us accessing it through other means such as VPN, something I was wondering, will we still have to use the VPN after tonight? As in are we tied down to our "location" and can't view it outside of there or can we view it in any country it available like Netflix?

Thats what I mean im using a vpn to access the US WWE network not the one here and have been for ages, when I try today today im getting this splash screen to sign up

I think it's the last one or second last one before it was re-launched in 2008 - I accessed this through the Playstation, so could of course be wrong:eek:

Oh sorry misunderstood

It's working fine (at least the closest to fine it usually is) for me but I signed in last night and left it signed in overnight.

Hopefully will sign up tonight. Wasn't too pushed about changing UPN settings and all that jazz.

Fingered cross WWE make a big deal of the UK/IRE launch. We have to put up with it being flogged to the yanks. Lets have them sitting through our shrilling.

I share it with two buddies, never had issues accessing it.

Right lads I signed up for the free month and used unblock us. But cancelled before I started too pay for it.. Will I have too great a new account tomorow or what too re join up too the network?

You can use it away with the same account, no need for unblock-us from tonight onwards.

It doesn't seem to be unlocked for me. I have made an account but it says I am not currently Subscribed. And when I do try to subscribe Ireland isn't in the list of countries to chose from?

Didn't bother doing all the re routing to get the network before so I can't wait for 8:00 to get the network. Have a feeling that the website will go down with all that traffic though.

Interesting to see a lot of people - not just here but other boards I look at - who are signing up. I think there was a presumption that most people who were going to be interested would have signed up by VPN but maybe that wasn't the case.

Of course without the six month commitment then a lot may drop off after the free month.

I am subscribed so id say that's why its working for me, anyone who doesn't want to wait till nov 18th just download the app from the US store and itll work fine that's what I did anyways

Apps on the consoles are Nov 18th. The guys are getting it on PS3/Xbox 360 by using the US VPN.

Apple Devices, the Website and Android devices get it at 8pm tonight.

EDIT: It now brings you to the registration screen, just no option of choosing UK/ROI

Ill say this again I am subscribed to the wwe network up until 2 hours ago I couldn't access the network on ipad or ps3 because I wasn't using unblock us I was using hola and chrome to access it

I now have hola switched off and its working on pc and now on IPAD and PS3, so to reiterate if you have already subscribed to the network not a new sign up the network will work for you nps, and to get the app for ps3 just download it from the us store by making a us account and away you go

Basically what im saying is is they've lifted the geoblock, so you don't have to cancel your US sub to resign up for the UK/Ireland itll just continue to work but without vpns needed now
