Not on Playstation yet, although we all have the app. Presume it'll just work away.

the app should be available by Nov. 18th for xbox and playstation

I wonder how much of the problem here is that the change of format has just knocked a ton of people out of what had became a pretty f*cking tedious routine. The product's pretty damn bad the last long while but for years before that they've arguably been stumbling from a lucky bump to lucky bump in the form of things like Rock coming back and the Punk stuff (which I'm aware didn't bump numbers much, but, god, people seemed more interested than they had been in years).
$9.99 was too low imo, I feel like they'd've done the same numbers for a fiver more ...and whoever said they were fierce stupid to hammer home 9.99 when they're gonna have to jack it up is bang on the money.

With the next Mania being a tenner with no commitment, I'm actively dreading how much they're gonna half arse it when it rolls around.

Honestly, the only thing I'm interested about in wrestling right now is how much of a free fall WWE and TNA have been in.

    Uhm, yeah, rant over.

WWE's over-reliance in recent years on part timers in the spots that mattered is beginning to come home to roost.

Are people really complaining about the price? For being too low? Haha Well I'm not. For around 8 euro, it's a steal and I'm really looking forward to be able to dig into the archives. There is so much stuff there, it will take me years to get through the content I want at the pace I usually go at.

As for the amount of money wwe will get from me, I reckon it will be more, maybe significantly more than I usually give them. At the moment I pay for one ppv, wrestlemania. On a very rare occasion I might buy the royal rumble. So that's what, 22 or very rarely 44 euro a year. I reckon I will be a subscriber for at least 6 months of the year so that's about 50 euro. So on average I'll be giving Wwe a good bit more money than I usually do.

So in less than 24 hours we will have the wwe network without having to alter anything. Thank jaysus for that.

The latest mess ups are that you can get a free month if you are a returning customer not just a brand new one as advertised. Seemingly like with the 6 month commitment lark there's a lack of controls.

There's reports of it running slowly seemingly due to all the new sign ups. They didn't manage server capacity correctly.

I signed up to the free month when it initially launched in the states, but never really watched because it took them ages to get the Xbox app sorted and I gave up checking it every day to see if it was working. Hopefully the same won't happen with the launch of the network here on Monday!

So if we are getting tbe same version as the US does that mean we get PPVs as well? I highly doubt it. But it would be fantastic if we did.

They have to be getting a cut.

They have to be getting a cut.

No, just part of the renegotiations wwe recently had. also, Digital distribution isn't the norm, think of Sky vs Sky Go, you'll need excellent Internet connection and to be technologically inclined. Sky got all the PPVs moved to SBO, which could mean more cash as opposed to subscriptions due to the allure of WWE programming.

I'm really happy we're not getting the shaft like Canada. I am surprised, though we'd get the same deal, and I'd be screwed (with NTL)

WWE got all the PPVs moved to SBO. It wasn't Sky's insistence. They don't do PPV any more.

    Not even for boxing?

Well according to WWE you would be an absolute clown to be buying PPV's.

WWE don't care. I think they've budgeted for 0 domestic buys.

I must say, after months of resisting paying a little extra for an unblock app, I am happy for tomorrow. :)

Can you pay for the network through the Google play store? I can use my 3pay credit on the play store so that would be handy to use that

No, you only download the App from there. Payment is via credit/debit card or Paypal.

Is there a limit on the number of devices you can watch the network on at any one time?

    Not even for boxing?

Only at the insistence of boxing promoters. They do what they need to do to keep things away from rivals. They don't do PPV off their own back anymore.
