I think nidge will not hesitate to kill Siobhan. He already showed his ability to kill family members when he had his brother Darren killed.

I think you are watching a different show cos darren wasn't his brother.

    Darren was not Nidges brother.

Prison hospital has no guarded exits from the prison building, you can just knock out one prison guard and you have a free run.

It would be harder to escape an Alzheimers unit in a nursing home.

It wasnt a prison hospital. it was a normal hospital.

Siobhan now thinks Fran killed git, he'll be her hero. She'll tell Fran she has a bone to pick with him, propose on the spot and they will get married in the last episode. Nidge will do the dual role of giving her away and the best man, all forgiven and water under the bridge. At the moment of "Speak now or forever hold your peace" in the ceremony, Fran's dog will recognise Siobhan and go for her, pulling her to the ground. When she kicks the dog away, Fran will start laying into her as well, at which point Darren (the bullet went clean through his head but missed his brain) bolts out of one of the confession boxes and opens fire, killing Fran and Nidge. Himself and Siobhan then do a runner to Spain, where Darren starts his new job as Terence's right hand man.

(We'll find out next season that neither Nidge or Fran were killed, because Darren had used plastic bullets by mistake)
thats absolutely brilliant, love it...or maybe the whole thing is a dream by John Boy...Aidan Gillen to return next week waking up out of a dream as Little Finger from Game of Thrones.. " Sansa you woke me, I jut had the most surreal dream...who's Git? "

Darren was a very close friend of Nidge's and both went back a long way. Nidge was very distressed about having to kill him but organised it anyway. In the end, Nidge's attempt failed and it was Lizzie who ultimately got him. This was the first of Lizzie and her friend Dano's war on the Nidge organisation that ultimately ended with both Dano and Lizzie being killed by Nidge or Nidge's allies.

Nidge will not be entirely happy about killing Siobhan but may feel a lot less reluctant about it than with Darren after he finds out she is in league with the cops, probably Fran and maybe other Nidge enemies.

Will that be the last season?

He did make it clear to her in last nights episode that she's "on her own"

Only because Terence is way out of his league.

He said that even though he didn't know why Siobhán hated him, she was still family and he'd do his best by her - but if she got caught out by Terence (specifically) she'd be on her own.

    Subtle difference.

Where are people getting this from?..

The past and current seasons are linked, leading to 12.. But seen nothing to indicate 6 more in January as apposed to next autumn?

    I think so,

These 6 are linked with 2 next year that are split into 2 parts of 6, but are meant to be viewed as 1 season.

He showed some remorse and guilt for wanting him dead and ordering that hit on his bro (best mate) Darren even if in the end it was Lizzie who killed him

I don't think Nidge would have any problem if Siobhan (niece or not) was killed on his orders

I truly think besides himself the only person Nidge really cares about is Warren

A key element in what is going to happen is who will be available for the next season. Any of the key characters who it might seem mad to kill off, such as Nidge or Fran, may well want out of the series at this stage. They'd shouldn't have much problem landing other roles after this. So the script writers hands may have been a bit tied on options of how to finish up. Hope they're all available though!

saw a poster in the local chipper at the weekend that he will be appearing in The Palace, Navan....roll up. Why any one goes to thise things is beyond me, nice little side earner for the actors though I suppose

I would say they will want out after this season, it can become incredibly limiting as to what they can do after this once becoming instantly recognisable as 'Nidge' 'Fran' etc. Really doesn't help when they go on to do press or speak about future projects and Ryan Tubs is asking ' Can people believe you're so posh in real life Nidgey?? I can't even remember the last time the Saturday Night Show didn't have a Love/Hate cast member

He said that specifically in an earlier series.. He said he didn't carer about trish either only warren,.

one thing I think they slipped up on is that given nidge is paying the ira money and will be forever (to quote him)
Why haven't they stepped in to deal with the travellers given nidge is a cash cow??
or why hasnt he tried to get them to help him - he wasn't shy getting them to sort Dano out.
It's a ball dropped in the writing methinks - they should have closed that off

Because Charlie Murphy was acting as Siobhan who was also acting as the victim, does this mean she can be nominated for two separate IFTAs?

Possibly Sean McGinley was too expensive to re cast.
