Exhaust went to wrong DHL service area again!
That was after two phonecalls yesterday explaining where I live.
Two phone calls this morning and have arranged to meet up somewhere with a Dhl driver so should have it today!

    Have It on!
I'll stick a vid up in a while.
The only thing, it doesn't really run parallel with the tail of the bike

Its a very neat looking can from the back and the matt finish is very nice, its nice and deep but not too loud. Also, a man on a galloping horse would not cop that it does not sit flush with the bike I think its a lovely job. If it really bothers you your man GIZMO (fella is a legend with exhausts) would have it flush in no time if you really wanted it to be. He is based in Dublin however.

What was the total price incld. shipping?

    €288 all in!
I'll get over the not flush part I think, although I am fairly picky about my stuff..:o

Wasn't sure what to make of the sound off it.
    Just sounded weird!!
So I called to a mate and asked him to blast past me a few times and absolutely loved the sound of it passing!
I'll put it down to the triple+can being totally alien to me.

Spent half an hour looking around the handlebars for something loose. When doing about 30mph I can hear something rattling. It happened last winter too.
Must be something which is contracting in the cold but I can't find what it is. Driving me mad.

I wouldn't have noticed it wasn't flush if you hadn't said it. It looks great and sounds sweeeeeet!

Even heat and even cooling, do ya have a garage that'd keep the breeze off it as it cools

Finally got some spare time to look at the problem with the heated grips. it turns out the scotchlok wire connectors did not cut fully into the wire. I removed them and fitted propper connectors with shrink wrap. Grips are working fine now.

Next job will be to fit braided lines;)

oil and filter change and cleaned lubed and adjusted the chain. then a thorough wash - nothing major but its nice getting the hands dirty!

I was going to say that to you Richard, scotchlocks are a curse and you're better off without them. Tape or heat-shrink sleeve over the nicks where they used to be though.

Finally got around to some major maintenance.

    Oil
    Plugs
    Air & Oil Filters
    Valve Clearance
    Carb Sync
    Fitted a Scottoiler

    And a wash :)

Took about 10 hours all together. Most of that getting the valve cover off and back on again.

Bike is running great. Should see her through the winter.

I finally got around to removing the front fairing completely, and straightened out the brackets a bit.

The front of the bike was about 10 degrees skewed to the left, and it's now almost straight, perhaps 3-4 degrees to right. The main motivation for doing this was that my headlight was blinding car drivers. It was throwing light way up to the left, usually straight at the bus / truck drivers sitting high up on the left lane. I have that straightened out now, but I think it's still pretty high up. There's very little adjustment I can do as most of the plastic tabs around the light that is supposed to hold it in place is all broken. I need to try a couple of more things, but not looking forward to blinding a bunch of people tonight... :(

Looks well and suits the bike but not mad on them screens they dont look the best, but if it does the job all the good. Id prefer the all in ones. Leppla has a really good one on order but its was expensive but its meant to be the best one available for the tiger.
