Decided to get on Nathan Ake @ 9.00 (Unibet). Feel some bookies have priced him up thinking he is an all out defender, but IMO he will spend a bit of the game past the midfield line, and will at least have a few goes on goal.

His hair is also FABULOUS.

Think Stoke are a massive price tonight at home to Southampton. They are very good at home and this is probably their only chance at a cup this season. Southampton while flying maybe looking towards the league but i am sure they will still put out a strong side. I think this will be a good open game contrary to belief Stoke play attractive football at home. Think their will be goals so i am temped at btts and Stoke to win at 11/2.

Interview in the Dutch press have Koeman saying he ll put out his strongest 11 minus Mane as he is a bit broken.

Was looking around the euro Cups. Leverkusen are playing FC Magdeburg who I had never heard of but they won the CWC in 1974 and reached the quarters of the UEFA Cup in 78. Also three times DDR champions, now they are in Regionalliga Nordost with a stadium that holds 27,000!

Ye i am sure both sides will be going for it but i think Stoke are very good at home and will take beating. I think their will be goals and at 11/2 for Stoke and btts i think their is good value.

Carl Zeiz Jena, another DDR giant made it to the Europa cup II final in 1981.

Painfull for me as well as for the UEFA as the semi finals were Tblisi - Feyenoord and CZJ - Benfica.
In stead of Feyenoord - Benfica which would have been a sold out stadium for sure, the final was Tblisi - Jena with about 4750spectators in Dusseldorf.
No doubt that must be the lowest amount of spectators at a europa cup final

Bayern are 13/10 to win to nil tonight, which is a good bet I'm sad to say. We've scored 3 goals all season (excluding the cup first round against a 3rd division side) and we haven't scored against Bayern since the 9-2 loss 2 or 3 seasons ago.

Not a tip. A moan. Had a bet on over 10 corners in Australian game today. 10th corner on 57th minute. Not one single corner from then till the end of the game.

Thats a frustrating one there. Corners can be a very frustrating bet like that at times. Tactics and formations change and all of a sudden they dry up completely.

I had a bet on corners a while back which won going about 4 corners over the line. 365 marked it as a loser about 2 hours later saying the corners never happened. Basically the guy on the rball fell asleep on top of the corner button or something!.

Home team goes 2-1 down after 80 minutes, you think they would be peppering shots at the goal. Ah well. There is always next time. Had a streak there for couple of days that I won every bet I placed. Last few days, nothing.

Hayden Mullins and striker Jake Cassidy still out, Walsall thrashed County last time they met but Febian Brandy (the chief tormentor) is not with Walsall now. They have a full squad for the game but that said the price still seems generous.
