Hi all.

Just out of interested what are dressing up as for halloween fancy dress?

Last year I was a Cop.

This year thinking of nurse or vampire:)

In not actually doing anything for Halloween anymore (unless you count exhausted hospitality employee as a costume) but my original plan was that a friend and I were going to dress up as Power Rangers.

Either a vampire nun or a zombie nun, depending on which accessories I get this weekend. This is mainly because I have a nun costume already from TedFest.

Ok I might be going as Veronica Lake or Magenta from the rocky horror show except blonde.

Prob Veronica lake though. I have a red dress that would work and it's really just the hair and make up then and it can pass for normal.

And I like Veronica lake.

Myself and two friends are going as dead powerpuff girls(dunno why,not my idea!) to sligo musical society's halloween party.we also have a mojo jojo going too! :pac:

Witch...surprisingly few people go for the old classic and I have a fabulous witches hat. Last year I was pregnant and did the zombie baby thing which was fun- especially when the baby kicked and the little arms moved

I always loved the 1940's /1950's rockabilly looks so im going as a 1940's dame! :-P Ive been practising the victory rolls in my hair and bought red lipstick specially for it!

So many people put much effort into their outfits and they look great and I like that a lot. I wish I could do that. This year and last year and year before that too, money restrictions has be dressing up as a witch. I have a plain black outfit which (skirt and top) which I make do with and I have a witches hat that I bought a few years ago and that's it. The rest then is just accessories.

Torn between a Sim (I made a light up plumb bob last year- you know the little green diamond thing over their heads?) and a robot. Like a proper, cover a box with tinfoil, old school robot. It depends on how much time I have this week before Friday!!!!

I must say, it took me a few attempts to get the victory rolls right. They probably werent even that good in the end but i think i looked the part anyway!

I'm torn between either just drawing a compass on a t-shirt where all the points are north (one direction!!! GEDDITT??) or going as a halloween costume. That involves spending about ten minutes and twenty quid in the two euro shop and getting a mix of a load of different costumes (fairy wings, witch's hat, green face-paint, devil's fork thingamajig etc.).

So this is probably what I'm going as this Friday (after 34 years of dressing up, I've ran out of ideas and I'm also stony broke right now).
