Hypnotherapy... anybody tried it?

Hello- while searching for Depression-Relief I came across hypnotherapy as very effective. Has anybody tried it for depression or other illnesses? Have you heard of Larry Mc Mahon, is he as good as it sounds on the website?? Thanks!!
