D'ya know I'm actually thinking of getting Baines next week, when I have the extra transfer... I'd then have Ivanovic AND Baines

That's a powerful back line with just those 2 at the back!

My midfield re-jig will see me upgrade a defender to the cheaper Chelsea option - Azpil or Felipe Luis (he is going to start playing some time)

Been toying with the idea of Lampard as my fifth midfielder - rotating with Ulloa as my 7th attacker.

I currently have Zaha who has kept the bench warm nicely for both me and Palace. Other options in the price range are Krankjar and Diame but their fixtures are terrible short term.

Was going to bank a transfer this week but I suspect this would be the week for Lampard to start with others travelling and I suspect City will start to go 1 up top with Lampard/Toure behind over the next few weeks as they work through the CL fixtures.

I wasn't going to make a transfer but thinking I might do Dummett to trippier. 5 home games in the next 7 he has no attacking points yet but burnley are starting to get their injured players back.Duff is .7 cheaper though.

I've considered bringing him in. He's shown the last few games that he can score big. He could go on to replicate what Tevez did at West Ham 7/8 years ago where he single handedly saved them from relegation. Tevez propelled my team up the table that year too.

Lads is Sanchez worth persisting with due to Arsenals favourable upcoming fixtures?

Had him from the start- not proved worth the price tag but I live in hope

Yes for me. I think he could have a good year if he stays fit. He doesn't need many chances to score.
I'm torn between Cisse and Pelle this week... Pelle has better fixtures and in a better team so I suppose there is my answer!

I've been keeping an eye on him. He looks in good form and he had a bumper half a season when he first arrived. He, Jelavic, Siggy and Pienaar were the stars of the latter half of the 2011-12 season.

If he got anywhere near that form again, 13 goals in 14 games, he's a no brainer.

Although I wish to get rid of lukaku and dzeko, I think I'll leave it till next week to see what the likes of aguero, falcao maybe even sturridge get upto this week

2FT, 6.1m itb and sitting in 9k overall, I am going ahead with my original plan to do Ulloa and Pieters to Wellbeck and Baines.
Ulloa was a 1 week gamble that didn't pay off, Baines is a long term gamble but he has great fixtures and looks to be coming in to form he is also a good differential.
The only downside is I am foregoing any short term prospects of getting Aguero in (forwards Ulloa, Costa, Pellé). My plan B was to go Ulloa > Agero and Pieters > cheapie defender but since everyone came through the internationals unscathed I am going with my Plan A. Hoping not having Aguero doesn't backfire.....

Duff has picked up plenty of bonus points when Burnley do well.

A threat from set pieces maybe? .7 is a lot when considering bottom half defenders

The chap couldn't hit a barn door last year!

    Needs a sackful of chances!

Wants subs that contribute so looking for suggestions to replace sidwell and roseinor. Have 9.6m to spend. Thinking downing but that only leaves 3.9 for a defender. Or is wisdom and Larsson a better move

Diame is 5.4 and a better pick than Larsson I think. He's playing behind the strikers now at Hull and scoring regularly.

Arfield 5 should fit the bill for you.

Mahrez at 4.9 could be a good pick

Sclupp for Leicester as a defender 4.5million

He is playing left wing for them and scored in the last game!

    Next 6 games
    Newc
    Swans
    West Brom
    Soton
    Sunderland
    QPR

Could get a couple of clean sheets in there too

Very quiet Friday in here. I don't think I've ever seen a season like this before. Most people seem generally very happy with their teams. Last season I would say I had easily taken 20 points worth of hits at this point.

I've also seen countless mentions of people using transfers because they have to before they lose them or banking transfers.

I'm in exactly this situation. Not a single transfer jumping out at me.

Still haven't decided whether to bring in Azpi or Baines for Kompany. I'm leaning towards Baines, but 3 out of 4 boardsies said Azpi when I asked the question yesterday.

    Clyne
    Duff
    Hutton
    Chambers

    Di Maria
    Sterling
    Siggy

    Aguero
    Welbeck

Not too sure if I should change anything. Feel the bench offers very little if something goes wrong in the starting 11. Would like a better or rather, more reliable goalkeeper than DDG.

    Any suggestions?

Are we getting boring or what??

C'mon copper, you have to aim for the stars, don't settle for 10k, like what your doing doubling up on the Soton full backs, wouldn't risk it myself though, suicidal when they concede.

I gave up on DDG, plenty of options on 9m worth of rotating GKs out there.
