Good post. For me it seems as Terence is the boss of bosses so he could have Nidge dead and buried whenever he felt like it.

He also seems to be much smarter than Nidge.

The weasel is in big trouble!

Dont count your chickens :) We may still see Tony (Sean McGinley) yet. Nidge is a willing lap dog for the RA so he'll call in a favour if needs must

Does he have a favour to call in though? He is already paying off the RA & I dont know if Tony would risk going up against Terrence just to save Nidge. Might be more in Tonys line to strike a deal with Terrence instead. Nidge is not the right man to be backing at the moment.

Is it true that it has been confirmed that next year's season will be the last?

Tony will go with the lad who tickles his tummy and is in less of a bargaining power. Nidge is willing to do runs for Tony while Terrence is his own man. I would doubt the RA would fear Terrence even if he is Mr Big tbh. If Tony backed Nidge over Dano and Git then he could quite possibly back him over Terrence. He has Nidge right where he wants him. Remember how anxious Git was to have Nidge on board? He knows Nidge is terrified and will take no end of risks to keep them off his back. Nidge might be a more ideal man to have in even greater power especially if he is willing to do favours for Tony.

Good point that. I had'nt thought of it that way at all.

Thought Paulie sounded bizarrely like nidge at one stage...

think Patrick will attack again and think Warren will die/ get hurt.

nidge and fran both survive but siobhán? not sure... think Paulie may not survive also

wish tommy would recover, one of the most interesting characters.

    great first episode

Surely nidge should have done away with Fran when he had the chance, now he is in a feud with paddy who knows nidge petrol bombed Frans house.

Fran is a danger to nidge and is a loose cannon.

I doubt Paddy is going to rock up and say to Fran "I made the pipe bomb that killed your missus"!

By the way, did Siobhan say to Paulie "I have to be home before Leyton wakes up" or "you'll have to be gone before Leyton wakes up"?

He will if there is a catalyst and I think the way both his and Nidge's kids have been positioned means they will be pivotal.
Yer man coming to the table asking for 'crips' and Paddy's reaction to the inference that he had nits, may have made Nidge realise that he could be used as leverage.
A kidnapping is on the cards imo, Fran will be involved and Paddy will tell Fran in an effort to get his son back.

    Huh?
when nidge entered the warehouse to question fan....i thought it resembled the famous nosferatu scene with the shadow being the main image.

Apparently, it was the latter, though I thought I heard the first one. That bit of dialogue and the not very prominent scar on Nidge's head were what created most of the confusion in this otherwise great episode.

There is a more simplistic reason for peoples confusion then that I am afraid.

This why a sub forum is needed.

Something like the Chaise Lounge forum for the Sopranos

Someone makes an interesting point on this thread, then it gets lost in the noise like the above or somebody asking whether next series is confirmed and being replied to and so on.

There are more than enough subjects to keep a sub forum busy. One thread off the top of my head I would start in a sub forum would be "Does Fran already know everything about Nidge and Linda" as I believe he does and this will be a major twist in this series. There isn't space to get into that sort of issue in the middle of this thread.

I really don't see the big deal with making a sub forum. It's the most talked about TV programme in Ireland at the moment and there is SO much sub-plots to be discussed. I've genuinely lost interest in this thread. It's a mess! As mentioned above, someone makes an interesting point, then it's hijacked by someone asking a question about something that happened in season 3. Nothing against the person asking the question of course. Some are saying there's no point as there's only a few episodes left. Yes, true, but there are 5 more episodes, another season and there are questions after questions people are asking about things that happened in season 1-4 that are relevant to things that are happening now. Who would it harm making a sub forum? There's a Spurs sub forum for gods' sake, as long as that's there, making a sub forum for Love/Hate will never have to be justified. Just do it, please.

Starting to think it's simply down to those with power to make a sub forum not liking the show :P

Is it really that hard to scroll past questions/points you are not interested in? You have to do that on any forum, politics, AH.

The persecution obsession is funny though.

Anybody think there could be a Soprano's inspired (Soprano's spoiler)
ending to the Soibhan storyline? Bit like Tony having Adrianna killed.

Nidge won't kill Siobhan, she's his niece.

I still think we'll see Darren again.

    Yep.

If it came down to Siobhan going missing or life and jail for murder and drug dealing I think it's obvious what Nidge would either do himself or order it to be done.

A scene with Nidge killing her would produce some intense & amazing acting.

I can't see it unless it's a last resort to be honest. Even if Paddy just made the pipe bomb, you don't release that information to someone as unhinged as Fran.
