Am I the only one here who hasn't watched a single episode of Breaking Bad?

Probably not. I've seen people being caught out pretending they have. Its worth a watch all the same if only because certain aspects have crept into everyday usage.
Although the "Greatest Show In TV History"* brigade have now moved onto True Detective as the new champion. It'll be something else next year.

*Correct answer to "Greatest Show in TV History " is Twin Peaks.

PVP has been around a lot longer than a few week's. A family member of one of my mates has been a heroin addict for years and has been using PVP along side it since at least January. They either don't know the extent to the problem or they are downplaying it...

This episode of Prime Time is depressingly grim. I don't know exactly what they can do about it but something needs to change drastically.

Walked through Dublin City Centre there 2mins ago and now in the safety of the bus. A nasty grim feeling about the place especially O'Connell street area. Lots of undesirables knocking about.

It's always like that in fairness. Amiens street, up Talbot/Abbey St etc... the dregs are ever-present.

You ever go into a Spar there? The shopkeeper is delighted if you are not a junkie trying to rob stuff.

its a ghetto, I'm afraid to walk down O'Connell Street at lunch time now, its getting worse by the day

the beggars and junkies out number the guards by 50 to one

No other capital city in the world has its main thoroughfare with such anti social behaviour, these methadone clinics have a lot to answer for, what good they they actually do?

Pity it wasn't a prime time investigates programme where it got a full hour of investigation, they could have got some real footage, anyone walk down the boardwalk at the Liffey? Junkie Paradise,

Have 2 get my favourite quote from Breaking Bad in here ....

'You brought a Meth Lab to collect me from the Airport' ....!!!!

As good as the Series was, it highlighted the badness of the drug - Dublin is rife with a very bad drug scene and not enough resources to fund any resolution - sure, we should be paying for water that comes from the sky before we do anything about the poor zombies in the City!

People afraid of walking down O'Connell street have lived sheltered lives.
