The fucking M50 does my tits in! "open a 3rd lane" they said... "It'll make it twice as quick" they said!!!

    Did it fuck!!!

Every single morning there's delays, right from junction 4 all the way up to junction 9, and the poxes are still charging us for it! The only time its of any use is between the hours of 11am - 3pm when everybody is already in fucking work! Well done yeah!:mad::mad:

Constantly late for work no matter how early i leave! The alternative is to leave an extra 20 mins early in which case i wind up sat outside the building waiting for it to open like a tit, can't win! Cannot fucking win!

Also i picked up a flu on my holidays so i'm sat in work coughing and spluttering and feeling extra rotten for myself! Fuck my life!

In fairness, it has made a difference, but if there is any sort of accident, or something that catches a drivers attention, it grinds to a halt.
I've stopped taking it when I drive to work, I have a nifty way through the city worked out that is shorter than taking the M50 if there is traffic.

My annoyance today is that the anti-inflamatories i'm taking are causing havoc with my stomach. I look 3 months pregnant, and farting like a woman who is 8 months pregnant, and they stink like the first poo of a newborn child.

Boombap I know how you feel :( I'm coeliac so you think ok avoid wheat but no I must avoid buckwheat, malt, barley, rye and the latest maltodextrin.

If I accidentally eat food with these in them I feel like you do right now about 30 mins later and the bloating lasts for 5 or 6 days.

Why can't food labels be easier to read

That weird feeling, that only lasts for a couple of seconds where you are crossing a bridge and you get the urge to jump! Or is that just me?:eek:

The girl sitting beside me on the Luas at 7.30am this morning with music blaring out of her earphones. I could normally just about let that go, but not when she is listening to the Frozen soundtrack. Who voluntarily listens to that?

I put on my perfum before doing my makeup and hair this morning. It just didn't feel right

Why do people do that! I was on a bus during the week and same thing. Do they not realise it, or do they want the rest of us to share.
I was only on for a short while, so it didn't trivially annoy me...much.

'They' never said a 3rd lane would make it twice as quick - the third lane was to cater for the additional traffic volumes using the road.

The M50 was never originally designed to be used as a commuter route for people to get to work - it was supposed to be an orbital bypass of Dublin. In some respects it's a victim of our development planning policy which has seen large swades of the population commuting in from the Dublin regions and surrounding satellite towns into central Dublin everyday.

Basically the M50 gets a bad rap for not doing the job it was never originally design to do.

This annoys me, but only trivially so.

Supposed to be able to forsee being sick and needing a doctor. I feel rotten the past two weeks, started off as a cold, then it went away, then it came back, now I'm hacking up lumps of stuff each time I cough and just feel miserable, dizzy and like there's an elephant sitting on my chest. My managers telling me to go home so, I called the dr to see if I could get an appointment. No appointments. None for today, none for tomorrow and none for Monday. Tuesday morning is the earliest I can get.

She tells me shell take my number and have the nurse call me back, and that the nurse can have the dr write a script for me and I can pick the script up.
Eh, no. If I wanted a virtual diagnosis ill use google.

Find another doctor either that, or ask for a cancellation. Nobody can forsee illness - it is their responsibility to fit you in if you need care and if they don't I would seriously consider switching doctors.

What's wrong with the situation is a lot of aul ones with nothing better to be doing used to go in there every morning as walk ins as you only needed appointments for afternoons. Literally anytime I used to go in I'd always see the same people. Then they changed it and made the whole day appointment only.

Although, when I used to be in there with my dad when he got sick, it was still the same faces. I think they obviously go in for chats, or whatever, that's why they can book up appointments nearly a week in advance.

I actually like my doctor, he's really nice, and I'd hate to change over be side honestly he's lovely, but that's no good when you're supposed to be able to see into the future.

Thats an awful shame, in all honesty they should try to squeeze you in at some point during the day...without making you beg for it. I've had similar with my own doctor and if you pressure the receptionist saying you urgently need to see him - just might make a difference.

I AM HANGING FOR THE WEEKEND, it's trivially annoying days get in the way of Saturday

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,481 ✭✭✭Barely There

Sleep and Waking up in general.

Stayed in hotel beside my office the other night.
Brilliant, I can have an extra-long lie in and a 2minute walk to the office instead of my usual 1 hour commute. This is going to be fantastic.
But oh no, I'm wide awake before my alarm would have even gone off if I was at home,

This morning on the other hand I would have gladly swapped my left nut for an extra hour in bed,

Why do you do this to me God?
    Why?

I was so annoyed at seeing mistakes with both of them, I used the wrong word!

    How more than trivially annoying!

having to eat microwaved food if I ordered in a restaurant/fast food etc. Well,I could refuse but then that would be a trivial annoyance.
