Yeah, weird week but got through it and have first waiver as well.....
    everything's coming up Milhouse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 388 ✭✭setanta74

I wonder will the NFL put the squeeze on AP and ban him considering the media **** storm over player responsibility off the field.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 47 Greebow

Well that happened. What a week for superstar injuries and suspensions.

In Div7, three players extend their lead to 2-0 and three teams find themselves in the gutters looking at the stars as they slip to 0-2.

But regardless of your result, keep an eye on the waivers, set your line up on Thursday and remember... each week counts! Here's the Week 2 Recap for Boards Div 7:

    Stress Dream Award
Fumble Mumble lose to The Fingal Hail Marys by a crushing 2.02 points. Worst Monday night's sleep ever.

    Teabag Award
Decker Like Rice have to lie back and take it as Converse Nostars win by the league's largest margin (42 pts).

I'm looking at the stars I guess...
Should I be happier for the combo Tough Beat & Stress Dream awards???

I'm also in the gutter, looking at the stars. My arse is the perfect height for kicking apparently!
The preseason prediction had me going 2-11, I'm still on pace to hit that pitiful target.

On that note, the predictions for game points were pretty accurate for me these first two weeks, this week they predicted 68.66 and i got 67.94! Last week they predicted 83.48 and i got 81.84. That said, each week they hugely underestimated my opponents score giving me a false sense of optimism!

Seems you were half right - he's on the exempt list until the legal process is completed. It seems the NFL "reminded" the Vikings it was an option.

Wow, got very lucky this week.

Been in All Ireland final mode, and obviously wasn't around to set my lineup till late in the evening.

Came home after the match, and he about 40mins or less before the start of the 4.25 games, to get Jamaal Charles out of my lineup, but I had no backup RB's available.

So I trawled through what was around, and I happened upon my old Buccaneer friend, LeGarrett Blount. Dropped my current Buccaneer friend, Bobby Rainey for him, and slotted him into my lineup.

17.80 points later, I am a very lucky man.

Peeping Tomlinson - Receivers Boldin(SF), Austin (CLE) and Cooper (PHI) on the block..looking for a RB .....Woodhead done for the year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 643 ✭✭✭DBIreland

I have two running backs who don't/won't/can't run! Gore scored 1 point last night! Lacy weighed in with 2.5 points!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,880 ✭✭✭Raphael

Gore screwed me in my other league. Worst thing was I had Bush on the bench, and would have won if I'd played him instead. =(

Seems like I should win my matchup against the Portlaoise Patriots though, unless there's a very high scoring MNF game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 111 ✭✭aferru

    Hi guys,
does anyone want DeSean Jackson? Don't believe in him anymore!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 643 ✭✭✭DBIreland

Some very close games this weekend, two still separated by 1.5 points or less.

I got off the mark at last, 1-3. Woohoo.

I cant believe Eli scored me 32.1 points 0.3 off the best fantasy perfomance of the year so far

    I reckon you'll get the W tonight and we're both 2-2

Robinson would be ok, but as soon as Ingram will be back is value will be limited again... I was hoping for something more solid for Jackson, not a stud, but a consistent RB2 or a bencher with upside?

Haha i genuinely enjoyed that - i love when a few people over achieve - i.e. steve smith for me and eli for you - good scoring! Unlucky - both 2-2 - im ok with this!

Was fun alright. Although i didn't get the W I'm delighted with 90 points considering i got 10 points from all 3 receivers and 1 RB combined. A.J. Green, Sanu and Seahawks D back this week (Get ready Kerry Kings)

Also While I'm posting updated my trading block there. Looking to get rid of Garcon has some nice match-ups later in the season just looking for someone abit more reliable preferably WR but would consider QB and RB. Not sure what I'm going to do with Brady disaster altogether.

Aw man you had ARod on the bench as well.

    Also, Redskins D scoring -1.0.

    Not a lucky week.

I only scored 42 points two weeks ago myself so I know what it feels like.

Judging by last year 8 wins will get you into the playoffs. 7 wins depends on tie-breakers. Gonna be tough. Every win is cherished in this league.

19 points from a kicker, Paul? That is some bullsheet. Thought I had that sown up.

All comes down to Marhsawn Lynch, now.
