Its going very weird trying to join different sessions. I'll go back to SP and try start a closed crew session.

Ah I had my headset off, actually, but maybe I had it turned on and it was just picking up some noises. I turned it on at one point to tell Christ to stop being a useless **** thou :P

On my screen I saw "Accepted" then player left. Can you spectate the race and join after?

Nope. I can with other players.

Check your settings maybe, isn't there an option about spectating you can change?

Would you not try that vid I posted about fixing ps3 errors . its fairly straight forward. And as I said my story and online modes are sound.

Ok that was a fun session.
I started a Crews only session and we had Proco, Phobos, Bryan, Niall and Kesh.
Took turns to ride the train with a bounty on us while the others tried to kill us, A bit like Tag.
Sorry I left, my connection went and I couldnt log back on so just decided to call it a night and watch some TV.
