Georgia Salpa has a column in the Star and Sarah Carey has a column in the Herald... I'm not sure which is worse... I'd say Georgia's is more truthful though.

The Star... you pay your money, you get your goods.

More intelligent stuff to be found in the worse threads on After Hours.

Spot on. Anyone over the age of 16 that buys The Star/The Sun need to take a look at themselves.

Why is that exactly? Because you don't like the paper.

What about the Independent for example?, the only difference between the Independent and the Sun/Star/Mirror is that it has less tits and longer words, same old sensationalist crap on the inside though.

Because it's only purpose is to let stupid people pretend that they read the news.

So people who read the star are stupid. Really?

I read it and make 80k a year. Does that make me stupid?

How is your salary an indication of intelligence?

She's a ride. An absolute ride.

Her column is just an excuse to post pictures of her every week

Yep, thats what i was getting at too.
Im a straight female, and if I read the star no doubt my eyes would absolutely pop out of my head cartoon style if i saw a pic of her in her undies.

You've sort of proved my point there tbh.

    No, I honestly couldn't give a shìte.

Enjoy those riveting pieces on Simon Cowells latest beach holiday and <insert celebrity names> scandalous cellulite.

And the tits, mustn't forget the tits.

Don't overlook the other sections, though, or you'll be missing out on stuff like this particular stand-alone piece:
ONE Direction heart-throb Niall Horan has insisted that he would have no problem changing his look for love. Easy-going Mullingar man Niall (20) admitted he’d alter his style if it pleased a girlfriend. “I’d wear something particular if she asked ...
It goes on to discuss his favourite smells.
"It's Hugo Boss at the minute."

I must be stupid too as i buy it every saturday and monday mainly for its sport coverage and anything i read in any newspaper i would not take as gospel but i suppose the paper you read tells nothing but the truth. It must be great to be so superior to us stupid people.

Well they asked a question - why not answer it?

I'm not being smart but do you mean me?

I'm not sure how to word a response without getting into trouble.

The guy instantly fell back on a school yard response. That answered any question so I didn't feel the need to continue posting.

So, I like to read the sport sections in the Star, whats wrong with that? Am I stupid for reading the sports section?

Couldn't be arsed explaining myself. Thought it was obvious I was aiming my comment at Wall85 seeing as I quoted them. They asked how they'd proven your point, and I responded "Well they did ask you a question - why didn't you answer it?" which would I'd have thought look as though I was also saying to them that their answer to your question was stupid.

Of course there's nothing wrong with it. You can read whatever you want.

In fairness the sports section in the star is grand, but we're not discussing the sports section. The rest of the paper, along with the other redtops, is so poorly written and so full of pointless meaningless horse shiite that anyone seen reading it will often be considered a dimwit.

Well then, it seems that I'm the stupid one here.

    Sorry :)
