Air Contractors 737 EI-JRE which was on lease to Ryanair just left Shannon and is heading for Tamanrasset in Algeria. EI-JRD flew directly there. They will re-enter service with Safair of South Africa

G-BFIB PA-31 of Excel2 Broadsword presumably doing a survey or comms relay.

Not sure why he's using that UK defence-allocated hex though...

It's time for our weekly Omni Air Mystery Flight.

Unresponsive plane which seems to be heading for Cuba. Two F-15's are following it, but won't enter Cuban airspace.

BA 787 at its maximum certified altitude of FL430. Usually see them topping-out at 410.

Running to the south of it, blocked on FR24, is all-black GLEX N711MC

BA9160 only 25 mins out of LHR & descending...look to be using a 787 for short hop up to Scotland? Now wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise if you rocked up to the departure gate this morning!

Looks like Newcastle and 9160 is usually a delayed flight or positioning empty

Now that's odd; KLM B744 eastbound at FL380, which is a westbound flight level...

The United flight ahead of him is a B767, so its slower, ATC can then assign a non-standard level due to the speed differential. But somewhere along the route as the traffic increases, he would normally have to change up or down.

AirLiveNet? Yeah I think they do always be going on what anyone can see, hence their immediate "landed safely" notifications.

Well the next aircraft on approach is going in, so I presume Thompson got down fine.

Michael O'Leary was on the radio this morning http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057284866

Mentioned Ryanair taking the first delivery of new aircraft "next week". Whether he meant the week coming up or week after I'm not sure.
