I went for a civil service interview about seven years ago for a clerical officer job across from Jervis st shopping centre. There were two female interviewers, one was sound but the other was a complete wagon, she was wearing this blouse buttoned up to the collar and what looked like an old SS jacket with the badges removed with big shoulders. She looked like your typical overly suspicious, ultra-conservative 1950's relic.

It seemed to be going well until the old bag started interrogating me, she asked me , 'How would you define organisation?' , I was a bit confused by it and tried to answer it as best as I could ( I can't exactly remember what I said ). After I'd answered she just went 'Hhhhhmmmmmmm', I think the other woman was slightly embarassed and tried to rescue the situation.

I was talking to a friend after the interview and he swears that she was looking for a coded response, like when she said organisation the person earmarked for the job was supposed to say 'delegation' or something like that.

    How'd you get on OP?
I had mine Monday, waiting to hear back.
Have to say, I felt I gave a good interview so if they didn't like me then f**k them!
