Caller: Hello, is this mr smash?
    Me: yes
Caller: ok I'll just need to ask you for your DOB, address and phone number for security reasons
Me: Well you're not getting them, you fcuking phoned me!

When AIB calls my wife to confirm a credit card transaction (never a debit card one oddly) she always responds the same. They then tell her to call back on the number printed on the back of her card and that if she doesn't they may block her card. Cheeky feckers.

Buying boxer shorts really frustrates me! I seem to find it impossible to find ones that both well fitting and comfy!

Even if i decide to splash out and get some designer pairs i still either end up with them being too small, too big or tight fitting around the thighs etc.

They need to create a standard boxer short size across all brands ffs! Even certain brands have different fitting sizes so its like a lucky dip every time i buy a pair if i'll get to wear them! Nothing worse then sitting at a desk all day in uncomfortable underwear that you spend most of the day digging out of your crack!

Stupid people. Blindly stupid morons. People who are mistaken about something and then when you correct them or try to explain something to them they just refuse to take the information on board. Very Irish. Especially in a scenario where they are complaining. Maddening....

    Idiot: I dont understand this
Non-idiot: Well its simple really, 2+2=4
Idiot: But that's ridiculous, can you not make it 5?
Non-Idiot: Well no, because that would be wrong
Idiot: I think thats a disgrace now I really do. Can I talk to someone who makes decisions?*

    *particularly maddening

The worst is the kind that rapes your arsehole while walking down the street, going deeper and deeper with every step.

People not watching small kids out playing around the estate. Drove in just now, and one little fellow, about 4 or so, remained standing on the road, clueless...
I stopped and waved at him to get off the road. Next driver might be moving faster though.

Our next door neighbours throw their 3 kids out from 9-10 nearly everyday, and don't keep one eye on them half the time.

The oldest is 9 and the youngest is 3.. It's an accident waiting to happen.

I meant 9 AM to 10 PM btw.

One of the reasons I'm glad to have had my childhood in the countryside, a non busy road and a lot of fields to play in. Still though, 4 years old and unsupervised? That's ridiculous!

Having a song stuck in your head and I keep singing it to myself. It's about a boy with an ugly heart. So when someone serenades me with "let it go!" I can be all like "i wonder does it blow your mind, that im leaving you far behind!" and "okay so you're pretty, your face is a work of art, your smile could probably light up New York after dark, shame about your ugly heart".

All joking aside, but ahh earworm

If it's any help, I enjoy belting out Journey's Don't Stop Believing in the car in the same voice as the Chinese takeaway owner in South Park. "Just a sh1tty boy, born an' raise South Detroit... " :)

It is a good point in fairness. Especially now that so many people are using the recession as an excuse to abandon their horses. And when you hear horror stories about foals being beaten to death by kids and horses being abandoned and set on fire etc then a stable at night and food is not bad in comparison. But there is no need for them to cart around tourists and drunken stag/hen go-ers and their life is pretty miserable and short lived, and there are a lot of things about the industry that peopel dont know. Another bone of contention with me is that animal welfare charities dont consider them part of their remit. So if you do see any cases of abuse/neglect etc it's the Carriage office that are to be notified :( wtf are they going to do?

I think a big part of the problem is that with the new changes to the legislation around horses, rescues now have to pay 200 euro to take a horse out of the pound. They then have to find a horsebox to transport the horse by themselves. Given that most rescues receive very little to no government funding, the resources just aren't there.:(

And I can't stand myself today either. I need a holiday. Away from everything and everybody. It won't happen though :(

The impossible task of buying free range chicken portions in Waterford. My husband went to 4 butchers and 2 supermarkets today, on the third supermarket he managed to find some.
