Well lads, I am moving out tomorrow to a new place. New life and a new home for scooby. Looking forward it. :)

Good luck with the move! :)

When I have a few kids and need a sensible car to ship them around in I think I'll buy one of these.

The wheel colour would need to be changed of course but other than that it's perfect :cool:

As hard as it is it's the only way to do it. You won't know yourself in a few weeks time

Cheers, and thanks to everyone else too. You would be surprised how much help boards.ie community was in all this.

I just packed my last few bits and it got to me a bit. More of my dog, them anything. At least I will see him when ever I want.

Though from other perspective, I really got my **** together. I eat healthy and work out a bit. Lost 12kg in 4 weeks. See my friends more often. Dropped cv in the very first hotel I ever worked as I was told they are looking for chefs. So hopefully I will get a second part time job there. Got over my depression that I had for last year too.

There is always something good in bad. And as Barney Stinson says: "When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead." :)

Seen a 2009 mk2 not 2.5 focus there. I was sure all the mk2s were gone by early 2008. Original irish one too I thought it was a bit mad didn't think to many people would buy a pre facelift focus in 2009. I think it was a petrol one but didn't really look but nearly sure there was no tdci badge.

Change over to the new tax rates in July 08 would have messed up the sales.

Its also not unheard off for manufacturers to still have unsold stock of the old model when the new model comes in.

For example - my dad was looking at brand new 1.4 tdci Fiesta diesels in 09 - not a bother says you - harmless out - except they were mk 6s - and it was around July/August time too - around 8 months after the Mk 7 came out.

How in the fvck is that cool

Because it was so ridiculous, the smoke out of it was crazy and combined with the speed of the thing (just before Killian bought it, I was in it, Christ it could move after the engine rebuild) it will always be a car that I'll have fond memories off.

It's obnoxious as it gets, 2 fingers up to the nanny state that we find ourselves living in. Oh you must drive low co2 cars, you can't drive faster than 30 km, yada yada. It was a breath of fresh air

Are you staying in Ireland or moving back to Poland?

The car is in with Valdas tomorrow for a service. Hoping he doesn't find any major issues with it. Last time it went in for a service.......... it came out with a new timing chain.

Did you enjoy the basketball last night?

The mothers are all back on the road this morning, still asleep after 2 or 3 months hibernation from the warm Irish weather and have forgotten how to drive, but must drop the chislers to the school door, the gate is too far away.

By midweek I expect them to be back into a routine and avoid all stupidity and perhaps maintain lane discipline or even be aware of the meaning of traffic lights.

The postman left a present for me in the letter box this morning...

    The durty ****.

    Meanwhile, a courier delivered this:

With a little, I'll be fitting it soon enough. Either way, it's one of the few mods that add value to a car. So, they're effectively free, right?

Those coils are the size of truck coils.

@davycc ah your one of those I suggest you re check your information and get back to me..

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Golf_Mk4#GTI_25th_Anniversary_Edition_.282002.29

i also posted that link for his info but he deleted it too the big ignorant child:pac:

Sigh trying to chase up my registration form for my car. Turns out the bloke didn't post it. What's the process as I technically don't own the car!

If you can't get in contact with him, give Shannon a call. Tell them what's happening and they'll send you out a form to get signed by a solicitor, a main dealer and yourself. Post it back to them, they'll post a letter to the previous owner, if not contacted within two weeks, they'll send you out a log book.

Had to do it for the Mazda, major pain in the arse dealing with people that won't talk to you after they sell the car, Shannon were sound though and snappy about it.
