What do you think is the best and worst Irish Criminal nickname ?

Off the top of my head I can think of these names.

    The Viper
    The General
    The Monk
    The Penguin
    The Don
    Factory John
    Fat Freddie
    Fatpuss
    Dr Coke
    Terror Chief
    Terror Boss

I think The Viper has the coolest nickname. Also I believe Fatpuss is the worst nickname, you cant take someone with that nickname seriously.

BTW I want to make it clear that I'm not condoning criminality. I'm just looking to find out who has the best nickname.

The Tosser. Best and worst in my opinion.

With all these criminals with nicknames we really do need Batman

The general was such a good film. I still can't wrap my head around his relationship with his wife and her sister

"Dr Coke" was on the front page of the Sunday World a few years ago.

The Panda was another good one. Chap was shot a few years back I think.

Jack 'Legs' Diamond is my favourite Irish American criminal nickname. (operated in the 1920s and 30s)

I dislike unimaginative common ones like Deco or something.

I worked for one of them for awhile, strictly legit stuff, but I learned 2 things pretty fast. 1. Never, ever, use his nickname within his range of hearing. And 2. If you're ever standing beside someone who uses his nickname within his range of hearing ? Move. Quickly.

An Irish Crminial has not really made it until the Sunday World gives them a nickname.

Johhny 'Mad dog' Adair's son and wife were known as 'Mad Pup' and 'Mad Bitch' in UDA circles. 'Daft Dog' is his other son.

When I was a teenager reading stories about them in the Sunday World, I always thought the Westies were a cool gang name. The fact it referenced their turf added to its coolness.
