Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    How much time are you given between receiving the call and your start date? Approx. obviously because you can't release the exact dates. Is it only a matter of weeks or is it say closer to 2 months? Thanks

    Mop, head up, you're in, it's just a waiting game. Can't imagine how frustrating it must be but when I spoke to hr they were more than helpful so I would say it wouldn't do any harm to give them a call.

    They won't put me through. Just HR. Yhey said they can't transfer to vetting. Think they're just saying that though grrrr lol!! Oh well if I don't get in it's their loss :P lmfao!!!!

    Lol, me too! And i still dont feel like i have enough info! I suppose we will find out all when we get there.

    Another thing- i thought we stayed there on the saturday night, i'm right in saying we dont? Lol, i know i'm being a bit silly but just to make sure :confused:

    I'm not part of your group but no, you don't stay there! Not a silly question though when some people have a really long way to travel. You're right with what you said about info though, you'll certainly find out a LOT when you get there! I would recommend bringing pen and paper actually just to maybe take some notes, I didn't and kinda wish I had just so I had a better record of what went on and what was said. Good luck!
