    So Mata, not needed?

    How do you know that?

Is it totally implausible that the Glazers gave Moyes 40m to spend in January, he had a few rejections from central midfielders so just bought Mata because he was available instead of widening the net and catching a player who was needed?

Mata became available. If there was a CM signed in that window before that I'm certain the club would still have been in for him.

Can we not put International champions cup winners 2014 in the thread title?

We'll have to agree to disagree.

If we buy Di Maria, we're sticking a bar into our house to go with the pool table (Mata), all while we've no roof.

    Insanity.

Looks like we'll be getting in Rojo in the coming days according to some reports.

    Who wanted him?

"Two time player of the year"...give me a break. The best manager in the league wanted rid of him.

I'd love to see some of this wondrous magic you speak of in a United shirt.

You know, just because people here go on about how good he is, it doesn't make it so. Based on what he's done so far, he's another £35m turkey like Berbatov.

The fact of the matter is we'd be better off with Kagawa playing at 10 and spending the Mata money where it's needed - Midfield and defence.

A likeable fella but a show pony who we don't need.

I could respond to the inaccuracies, I could dispel some of the bull**** in this post......but in fairness what would be the point. There is a saying I am reminded of at the moment that is saving me a bit of writing time.

My final point on this, you edit speaks loudly about you and the value of your opinion. Calling a player, who is at the club 7 months, had 14 starts with 6 goals and 4 assists in the league in his few months with us last season, a flop says all you need to know about you.

We need pace and versatility, those two words sum Di Maria up. We need him, but it is third priority at the moment until we get a CM and CB

Supposedly we gave £45 million And Hernandez for Vidal how would ye feel about that? personally I wouldn't care about the cost. ( obviously it won't happen just curious how ye feel about how much pay for a player we need in a weak area)

If you bothered to read the post properly, you'd understand what I'm saying...that if Mata's United career continues along the same trajectory, he will be a flop.

Post as many funny jpgs as you like - He has not done well.

I would be very worried that Di Maria would be another Mata, another great player that can't show what he can do because the rest of the team is so disjointed. Its an utter waste of time buying him when our midfield is so bereft.

We need to strengthen the spine, all the fancy flourishes around the edge count for little if the spine is weak. A dominating centre half and a dominant central midfielder are required before anything else will work 100%

We'll have to agree to disagree.

You can disagree all you want. A forward wasn't needed at the time RvP became available but he was another player you couldn't turn your nose up at.

    We should sign

    Santon
    Vlaar
    Rojo
    Benatia
    Vidal
    Schneiderlin
    Di Maria

ok, seen as you keeping pushing this....what exactly did i say thats got your knickers into such a twist?

simple yes or no question for you, do you think i am talking s*it when i say that our match going fan base are unhappy, disillusioned and pissed off right now?

to be honest, im actually quite baffled as to why anybody would get so wound up and bothered over what ive said today, when its very basic and to be honest, a very good indication of what is happening right now.

for what its worth, here are the posts i brought up before you got involved and started going into meltdown at me-

and i find it strange that so many people thanked the post where you attacked me over these posts (especially the last one), yet if every single poster on here was asked to give an honest assertion of how they felt right now, i dont think anybody would be happy with the club.

and i find it rather disturbing that some people are happy to take the view of somebody who wasnt at the game as gospel over somebody who was at the game when describing how poor the spirit is in our fanbase right now.

now thats my last post on the matter. ive said my piece, you dont need to accept it and if you have a problem with me (and this goes to anybody else who doesnt agree with me or my views on the club) feel free to put me on ignore as im sick of trying to get people to realise the club right now is being run by a complete bunch of jokers who are dont give two f8cks about me, your or any of the other fans out there who care so much about the club.

I wasn't continuing to push it. I was done with the discussion until Bucky decided to start straw-manning.

I've already explained to you what my issue with your posts is in very simple terms. Read it here.

Di Maria can play in a midfield three. If he was signed (which he won't be) it would signal a move to a 4-3-3.

    De Gea

    Rafael
    Evans----Jones
    Shaw

    Fletcher

    Herrera
    Di Maria

    Mata

    Rooney----RVP

Maybe we should buy another world class striker? And maybe a goalkeeper too? Sure why not? We seem to specialise in abject transfer planning.

Does anyone at Old Trafford know what they're doing.

    - Identify requirements

    - Prioritise

    - Deal with requirements in order of urgency

I pray for three things this thread:

    (a) a new CM, CB and a utility player
    (b) maximum points
    (c) nobody quotes the one I've got on my ignore list :pac:

It's ironic how Sir Alex Fergusons stature as a manager is growing day by day as United's decline sets in... Was talking to a Spanish mate who is a big Real supporter today and he cannot believe how far United have slipped since he left (he even said if this was Real there probably would be rioting on the streets) - this for the most is the team that ran RM so very close in Fergusons last campaign.

He and his circle of buddy's who go to the matches could not understand how Ferguson over the years used to turn relatively cheap, good players (even sometimes average players) into league and even CL winners - they thought he just got rather lucky with the standard of the PL/CL for years. They now after seeing how things have fell apart since absolutely laud SAF for what he achieved at United - every time we fall in stature SAFs statute rises.

Maybe you should apply for one of the available jobs and then lead a coup from the inside.
