    Begovic and Myhill work well

Baines is very expensive, 2 Everton defenders? I'd drop Baines, get some money into your midfield. Debuchy at 5.5 is pretty decent.

Why all the love for Rooney? I thought he's going to be playing further back up the pitch? Rambo is a must have again imo. I'd also start Puncheon ahead of Johnson if you're not selling Baines

Very weak front line. Lambert not guaranteed to start. Doubts over Dzeko also. No Chelsea attackers, and on paper have a better start then Arsenal.

Yep, easily weakest front line I've seen.

Now you can tear my team apart guys. I think I am ready (except minor changes in defence maybe). 100m spent so no room for corrections after GW1.

I can't tear it apart too much as we've got the same front 7 :)
I've managed to squeeze Terry in at the back but it's at the expense of De Gea. I'll be throwing a 5.5m United defender in there to cover that.
I'm also taking a short term punt on Chambers.

    Krul
Terry - Evans (or Smalling) - Chambers
    Love - Your - 4 - Midfielders-
    And - Your - Strikers

    Debuchy - Azpil - Wisdom

Bench is Myhill - Moore - Isgrove - Hutton

Thinking of downgrading Debuchy to Chambers for the first couple of weeks and then upgrading one of my 4 mill defenders, possibly to Davies. Thoughts??

    sounds good Novi,

I dont like Costa as posted before (lazy runner) and as chelsea like to sit back and counter i cant see him doing too well. (IMHO)
I would switch him for sanchez or giroud both creative and attacking players.

Because your worried about your transfers, Uniteds starting run looks quite tasty to allow for De Gea and their defence to do well. (8 games avoiding the bigger teams)

My own personal views of course take it as you will! Realistically who knows haha

Cheers, I'm quite happy with Costa, can see him doing very well myself and seems to have fitted in nicely in the preseason.
I'm going to wait on Sanchez, he'll be in my team no doubt but he hasn't had the same time to settle in I prefer Ramsey at 1.5 less.
Would love to have Giroud up there but not over Costa or Rooney. Arsenal's CL qualifier early doors is putting me off a bit too, can see Sanogo getting some of Girouds gametime around the qualifier.

Seriously fella? Maybe do a tiny wee bit of research... ;)

With Shaw out for a month, Reece James could be a decent shout at £4.5 for the first 3 or 4 games.

Who is the best 5.5 united def to go with? With a doubt over Evans I need to change to someone else. I presume both Jones and Smalling will play?

With Roja and possibly Danny Blind on the way my feeling is that Utds defence is way to unpredictable and may take some time to gel to be reliable for clean sheets.

I think I'm gonna leave them a few weeks and maybe go Chambers or Davies (Spurs) for now.

Of course they'll play. They're our only fit senior centre halves.

Blind will play mostly in centre mid though with Shaw Injured he could fill in there for awhile.
    That's assuming he's signed.

    Is Davies 100% to start?
It'd be a good move if so.

Personally I'm happy to (have to) have 2 4m defenders on the bench.
I'll be spending the next few days trying to find the best 2 out there. I've been hovering around Moore, Bruce, Hutton....
However, I've also been thinking of Silva -> Nasri and that 0.5 might be worth investing.
Maybe you could keep Debuchy, do that City switch and a 0.5 upgrade.

    Any thoughts on this -

    De Gea
    Jagielka - Vlaar - Lovren
Mata - Barkely - Fabregas - Hazard - El Ahmadi
    Rooney (c) - Diego Costa

    Myhill, Bojan, Wisom, Cameron

Just downgraded Eriksen to Siggy to upgrade Dzeko to Costa. Costa seems a bit lazy but he's an ace finisher and I expect Chelsea to put a few past Burnley.

I don't like having Siggy though so I *might* downgrade Sanchez to Ramsay. Sanchez might need a few weeks to settle in and Ramsay looked far more up for it against City, but I dunno. :pac:

I'd have thought based on the world cup he might play on the right of the back three if necessary.

I think Evans will play. He's the best choice CB at the moment for United IMO. Gets decent bonus points (like the majority of CB's in this game), and this time being a regular starter could propel him to a fine season. I guess it deserves to be mentioned that Jones and Smalling both were used on the wings a long last season and their bonus points were effected by it. Between Smalling and Jones? I'd go with Smalling. Far less yellow cards and his BPS won't suffer all that much compared.
Also have the same front 7, with DDG in goals. My defence and subs suffer for it though.

    It's a very good team.

I think the problem with FF at the start is worrying too much about which big players will do well, so you tend to jam as many in as you can. Honestly, your bench will suffer because of it. I think GK is fine. Don't think Myhill is sure to start but De Gea won't be dropped.

Azpil isn't assured to start because of Filipe Luis. You could possibly downgrade him for Ben Davies for 1M. Pochettino will have them so much more organised this season. Eriksen for the same token could be one of the league top scorers as he is by far their best playmaker and everything will go through him.

I know people have Ramsey, and I think he will do amazing this season, but Crystal Palace at home and Everton, Man City away? CP had 12 clean sheets under Pulis when he came in after 8 or so games last season. That's as good as Chelsea in that space of games. Could get a goal on those two away fixtures, but difficult, and their other home game is against Leicester, who defend extremely well (or at least have looked, albeit away they leak goals).

    Mine:

    GK - Green
DF - Terry, Evans, Lovren, Davies,
DF - Fabregas, Mata, Sterling, Eriksen
    FD - Rooney (c), Costa,

    Bench
    Speroni - Sigurdsson, Zamora, Targett

Rotate Siggy and Lovren. Destroy it :)

EDIT: You guys post too fast.

A left footer on the right of a back 3? I doubt that very much.

Not 100% sure on navas or filipe luis.

Debating dropping hazard for ramsey and upgrading navas..

No way I'd have Zabaleta on the bench. That's a lot of money that could be used elsewhere. Also, he seems to be doubtful (though I'm not sure what's wrong with him).

And where do you think Rojo is going to play he's a left footed centre half.

Why has everyone going for Sigurdsson? Very average stats from last season

Starting sporadically for Spurs will be rather different from being on set-pieces and a key member of Swansea. Discuss?

He's back playing at Swansea where he scored 102 points in 18 games a few years back.

I have zableta on the bench for the fact hes missing the 1st game.
    Hed be a starter otherwise

Anybody any opinions i will start with Kolarov and switch to Kosceilnly when he is back next week.

I will also keep an eye of Davies and switch with Ward if he starts.

Diouf will score goals and i assume he is first choice and Stoke have a nice start.

You've spent far too much on your defence in that case. I'd downgrade Lovren to a £4.0 and invest that in your midfield to get in someone better than Arnautovic. Navas probably won't start either so I'd replace him as well.

That's a pretty solid team. I generally try and not start the season with too many transfers in mind. Those planned transfers can go out the window with an injury/transfer to another player. You already have 2 in mind there, so personally I would try and have a think about what players you can start with that you would be happy to keep.
