Mods merging must give rise to mutant mods. I'm sure it's cheaper in Enhland. You can bring your imaginary friend and all for free.

Finally, a discussion about water charges. It's been like the 800lb gorilla in the room that nobody on boards wants to talk about!

But we're talking about the new wafer charges not the water ones.

If you mean if it would be cheaper to live in England, I hope so, cause I'm moving over in four weeks time.

Compare your council tax bill in Engerland to our property tax and water charges, enjoy :)

Yeah but thing is whatever tax they pay, dont they see it back again.

Like dont they get free gp care over there?

Here, we pay over and over and over again.

At least they get something over there.

You do know they pay way over a grand in council tax and thats just the working class areas?
Well you could make that up by paying about 20 visits to the GP each year, not very common?

The amount we pay in income tax absolutely dwarves what you pay there though.

Indeed Enhlanders have them there rather hefty chouncil taxes to pay.
    - They're a real lot of dosh, really a lot of loadsamonies in fact.
And there is far less fresh air with all the 50+millions crammed in there.

But the council tax pays for something like all bins, emergency services (which can be pretty good) , greens to be cut and kept tidy and some sort of sensible planning when new developments are being build - like having shops within walking distance.
