No but it does make a laugh of the term "free education".

John drennan always remind me of the alter ego of the suave Jon Kenny on the eurovision episode of fr Ted! Ie the dishevelled incoherent one!!!!

Some people are struggling to pay for their kids to go to public schools, while others can afford to pay thousands to send their children to private schools.

They are genocidal maniacs, the world seem to be afraid to criticize these war criminals. Hope fully some country will have the guts to make a formal complaint to the ICC in the Hague.

Most parents want school uniforms, and then complain about the cost. They have to clothe their children in SOMETHING.

I'm a big fan of school uniforms, I reckon they save parents a lot of money.

Your basic uniform with a stick on Crest is the way to go, saves on everyday clothes...it's the fancy ones with the "stripe" etc. that has to be bought from the specialist shops are the ones that cost a lot more Roger...

And Sports uniforms cost a lot too unfortunately...it all adds up at the end of the day if you have a few children.

You are missing the point, schools select a brand and insist parents by that brand, now you can go to any shop that stock similar coloured cloths that have to accepted now by the select few that controls our schools.

We just have to purchase the school jumper with school crest in a specialist shop but everything else can be purchased elsewhere. It works out very well.

My point was that one way or another you have to clothe your children. School uniforms work out cheaper in the long run because it stops the pester power for the latest fashion, designer brands etc.

    I couldn't agree more.

It also means that you're not having arguments at 7:45 with your fashion conscious daughter who is struggling to decide what to wear!

Yes, our parents council choose our suppliers (books, sports gear, uniforms etc.) and they quickly change supplier the following year if there are complaints from parents over quality and cost.

That must be an new beginning, but that has been one of the complaints over the years. Hopefully that is the same in all school areas, that seem to apply in your area.
