I was down at Ringsend/Poolbeg ESB chimneys yesterday evening and a loose formation of what looked like single seater planes of various colours came in off the sea or up the coast, about 8 or 9 planes in all I think.. more or less seemed to be heading towards the Dublin Airport. I dont think they were all exactly the same type. It was around 7 pm ish I think, maybe a bit later
Anyone on here know what they were or what was the story?

The most interesting for me generally is Dublin where you have a choice of Tower/Approach/Ground, Tower or Tower/Approach. But the other airports especially Cork and Shannon are quite interesting too. As is Shanwick (what I just linked to) on occasion. All personal choice though I suppose.

Ah that should be easy then - two feeds, one of them for Shannon airport tower/approach and all aircraft over Ireland below 30,000ft and the other a much wider landscape of all of Ireland and beyond, for the Atlantic flights. Hope I'm not being too patronising here.

Nope, they won't be actually stalling the aircraft - All there going to do is let the speed drop and then on the Airbus ''ALPHA FLOOR'' kicks in and recovers the aircraft.
