when the idf soldiers came "unarmed" to see whats on the ship, the "innocents" started a lynch on them.

You have zero rights to board any ship in international waters,

They do? I taught they left Gaza, oh wait they didn't, they put it under siege. However, the ship was in international waters, so you had 0 rights there.

The Palestinians seem to be the one in constant danger from the IDF, after they have murder about 500 in the last couple of weeks.

You mean a night time commando raid, where the IDF shot people in the back at point blank range. So nice of you present a fantasy version of the IDF bout of piracy.

but I know they're investigating this.

Seen on the thread about Malaysian airlines where new users were coming in and defending the indefensible. A worrying thing about the rise of social media such as twitter, facebook, popular forums and other forms of media is that more powerful governments seem to be using huge media teams to try and manipulate public opinion in their favour.

Im not one for conspiracy theories but its just a trend I'm noticing from analysis of various sites. Propaganda has existed for a long time but its reached a whole new level imo.

When it comes to Israel, that sort of carry on is nowhere near the realms of 'conspiracy theories'.. it's a well documented fact that they pay people to post propaganda, organise and train teams to edit Wikipedia, and slander the names of people who are critical of them.

    Great bunch of lads

Israeli Ambassador, Ron Dermer, argued yesterday that "Israel deserves a Nobel Peace Prize" for the restraint it has shown (9:45 Mins). All said with a straight face. . .

    That's how propaganda works.

Someone once said that propaganda is the art of trying desperately to convince ones allies, while not quite convincing ones enemies.

What use is warning people to evacuate a hospital when many of the people would not be able to be moved? You tell me why Israel would bomb a hospital because honestly.....i don't understand it at all, I don't know why they killed 4 kids on a deserted beach, I don't know why they bombed a house with 20+ members of the same family in it, I don't understand how the killing of 100 kids over the last week can be justified by you or anyone else.

I think this post sums up how many people feel about the situation. It is inexplicable that people try to defend the indefensible, and the lack of clarity in their arguments is clearly evident.

I actually think Ireland would have been wiped out by the Brits if the Irish started firing rockets every day into London and 80% of the UK population had to visit their bomb shelters a few times a day on a regular basis.
I doubt the Brits would have allowed such attacks to go on for years without crushing whomever was attacking them completely and with no reservation.
This is why History is so important.

You are describing what was happening in England in the early 1970's , lots of attacks, lots of people afraid to use public transport. 36 bombs in London alone in '73.
The death toll was far higher since no Iron Dome.

    http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2005/jul/07/terrorism.july73

Just to be clear the UK 's leaders were direct targets too. There was the bombing of Thatcher's Hotel and mortar attacks on Number 10.

The Israeli politicians have bomb shelters, and Iron Dome and so far over 600 Palestinians have died. The Brighton Bombing very nearly took out the UK government and there was no reprisal against civilians.

This is why history is important.

It means when someone tries to justify something by saying "but others would have done the same" you can show them that no those others didn't do that even with worse provocation.

    John Hagee's CUFI.
In his 2005 book Jerusalem Countdown: A Warning to the World, Hagee interprets the Bible to predict that Russia and the Islamic states will invade Israel and will be destroyed by God. This will cause the antichrist, the head of the European Union, to create a confrontation over Israel between China and the West.

I said it earlier or in another thread, whilst we created Israel, we being the 'West' we have placed a religious knighthood in a strategic position, in a five thousand year old war.

Bush talked to god, but we know he does not believe in same.

It's crazy how people can be manipulated without arms and force of arms, and unimaginable with both.

Tonight, whilst I don't like the jews, they gave me an unwanted religions, which gave the world an even more unwanted Islam, I have to side, and I'm for the genocide of Palestine.

Israel has missile defence systems, anything that Hamas has launched has caused little to no damage. 20 Israeli's have died in recent times with 2 being civilians. Over 600 Palestinians have died with a very high majority being civilians. What's happening over there are war crimes on a huge scale.
To show how one sided this is, one of the two Israeli civilians put himself in harms way and the other wasn't protected.

JERUSALEM (JTA) — A civilian bringing food to Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border was the first Israeli killed by mortar fire from the Gaza Strip during Operation Protective Edge.

The 37-year-old man was pronounced dead upon arrival at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon on Tuesday afternoon; he had received emergency treatment in the field. He was visiting soldiers at the Erez border crossing when he was hit by mortar fire.
Also at least one of the military deaths was reported to have been friendly fire.

    http://www.jta.org/2014/07/19/news-opinion/israel-middle-east/two-israeli-troops-one-civilian-killed-while-palestinian-toll-tops-300
Odeh al-Waj, 32, a member of a Bedouin settlement in the Negev that is unrecognized by the Israeli government, was killed when a rocket exploded outside his shack on Saturday, and four members of his family were wounded, including an infant daughter who was in serious condition.

Residents of the community told Israeli media that they did not receive the same protections, including sirens and shelters, as other communities because of their “unrecognized” status.

In comparison one Israeli citizen died on the Malaysian plane.

So the Qassam brigades are claiming they have hit an f-16 with a surface to air missile over Gaza. I'm just reading it now so far their doesn't appear to be a comment from the Israeli side so can't say if it's true or not. The Israelis have been caught a bit offside with the way in which Hamas have been fighting back this time around saying they have new tactics and comparing them Hezbollah. I wasn't aware Hamas had SAMs will have to wait and see if it's true.
